    Finally saw one of the big bucks on his feet during daylight (well out of range unfortunately). Also had an idiot button buck circling my stand for about an hour. Any moral/ethical issue with dumping doe-in-rut urine on a button buck and using him as bait??

    These locators go for $200-300 and in case of an emergency, they basically send out an SOS with the location. I didn't know anything about them until my friend asked. Seem like a good idea if someone is lost or injured.

    One of my buddies is planning on getting a GPS locator beacon for his Dad since he's getting older and hunts alone. Anyone have any experience with these?

    Then I guess I’ll just be happy with what Iv got! I bought it for deer, but it gets alot of use for camping and vacations too.

    I have the aluminum one from Harbor Freight. It works well but it doesn't fold. I wish it did, since it would fit in the car easier when I'm not using it.

    Just me and the kiddo tonight for dinner. We made her favorite meal (mac and peas) then pumped it up by adding some corned venison. There’s a first time for everything!

    When that arrow successfully harvests a deer... I expect a forum-wide celebratory beer!

    Snuck out for a few hours in a new stand (only the second time I’ve hunted it.) Rain stopped and wind was good, but no deer wanted to cooperate. There should be a lot more action in this spot in coming weeks. Still felt good to be out there.
