Yea, I don’t need much of an excuse to leave work early to go handle some guns. Once I get the new one I’ll need to do some rearranging of the gun safes to make room for it, and start a new thread for scope advice. -

Yea I called ahead and he told me system was slow... So I stopped down and filled out the paperwork. I’ll probably get it this weekend. Without a scope and ammo it’ll just be something pretty to look at. -

Went to gun shop today... NICS system was really slow this morning, then went down completely. Apparently lots of panic buying. -

Great job!! -
My wife knows to stock up whenever Costco has it. Their normal salsa isn't bad... but its no Mateo's.
-
Showed up at Costco today after a 6 month absence. Some Walmarts had it, but not the big jars. They are on Amazon for $20 each, but luckily we didn't need to resort to that. I guess that picture was only half of what she bought... What a great wife I have!

If you want to take a break from watching the News and hoarding toilet paper, and would like to help out... Check into giving blood. There is a severe blood shortage right now, and things are going to get worse before they get better. https://www.redcrossblood.org/donate-blood/dlp/coronavirus--covid-19--and-blood-donation.html -
I have 2 Hoyts, but don't enough about bows to talk smack. They are comfortable to shoot, made in USA and I got great deals on them. Although now that I know Elite's are quality bows and are made less than 10 miles from my house... they'll be at the top of my list for my next bow.

When supplies run low you'll be dining on that fine buck head soup. mm-mmm

@Belo You know these aren’t chicken wings!

I hope Cam goes to NE. I'd love to see the look on Belichicks face at a post-loss press conference when Cam walks out wearing a scarf or a dress or a hat with a feather in it.

And build a still!!

The original hypothetical was not worse case scenario/apocalypse/societal breakdown.

That reminds me... I have some ground moose from a buddy. Whats the best way to cook it to taste the difference? If I make Bullwinkle burgers will it taste just like venison?
