Oregon Situation
Uptown Redneck replied to mike rossi's topic in Gun and Hunting Laws and Politics Discussions
http://nyti.ms/1OnLhrp This is a smart way of taking care of these right-wing idiots, pick them off one at a time whenever they leave. their little as@hole inhibited playground. And yes I read about how calling people names doesn't fix anything, put as I see things calling people what they are, in this case as@holes, is perfectly acceptable. -

Like a press release from another rightwing militia group holds any creditability. Now who has drank the Kool-Aid? -

Once again Papist doesn't disappoint us by showing what a moron he is. According to jerko@@ Papist if we don't put "effort" into doing what we do we shouldn't do it. He instead should put some "effort" into not showing us all what kind of jacka&& he truly is. -

I was a member of several unions and my wife is a teacher. What's your point? Wildcat, by answering, these rightwing know nothing morons will paint you as being nothing but a liberal, which, considering the stupidity these conservative fools post on a daily basis isn't a bad thing to be known as. -

But a private individual owning the land is somehow considered a threat Philoshop, as a hunter you should be the first to acknowledge that if privately held, access to what is now open land, would most likely be denied. -
Civil War

You're overlooking the simple fact that American's as a whole are lazy and will do nothing to cause inconvenience to themselves and/or family. In addition most are self absorbed and couldn't be bothered, as the last national election showed, a majority of American's no longer bother to turn out and vote. Do you think they would support a civil war and the resulting hardships that would come with it? This talk of civil war is nothing but idiots on the far right who have nothing better to do with their time. Not to mention the mere fact that at the first signs of conflict the powers that be, local, state and federal law enforcement, would immediately crush anybody who would take up arms. While the rightwing jerkoffs boast of their ability to challenge the government we all know that any uprising would be quickly overpowered by the massive amount of firepower and personal available to the authorities. -
FAYETTEVILLE, N.Y. (AP) - A central New York village has agreed to hire federal sharpshooters to cull its deer population. The Onondaga County village of Fayetteville voted Monday night to hire professional sharpshooters from the U.S. Department of Agriculture, and not use volunteer archers as originally planned. The village near Syracuse wants to manage the deer population in hopes of decreasing cases of Lyme disease, among other things. Fayetteville Mayor Mark Olson says the sharpshooters are expected to use suppressed rifles, which are generally prohibited for hunting under state law. The village is expected to talk with an aviation company on Wednesday to choose a flyover date to count the deer. The mayor says that the agency will let the village know when it can start once that happens. Sharpshooters will cover four sites over a couple weeks

Diappointing end to deer season at Stewart - trespassers on quads
Uptown Redneck replied to Two Track's topic in Region 3
As told to me by my local police, and posted earlier here, the police DO NOT consider ATV compliants a PRIORITY, nor will they attempt to chase them. I'm sure this same thinking applies to both DEC police and State Police. If they can't pull them over from the comfort of their car they do not want to bother with them. -

You're welcome Curmudgeon, I enjoy pointing out their ignorance -
There is nothing that this school did that will lead me as a parent to question the actions that they have taken.

Many morons on this site love to point to the constitution, however they only see in it what they want to see. They overlook all court rulings that show just how wrong their interpretation of the constitution is. -
I'm willing to bet that those calling this an over reaction do not have children currently in school. for if they did they would not be making such idiotic remarks. I can't see how erring on the side of protecting children's safety can be turned into a negative thing.
-
I agree with locking down the school, however I will rather have the school over-react, call me selfish but my daughter's safety and the safety of the other students and teachers take priority over the potential "ruining" of a students record.
-
With school shootings being what they are today, and as the father of a middle schooler, if someone spotted bullets left carelessly in view in a car in the school parking lot I too would want both the school and police to over-react, better in a case like this to err on the side of caution. Not calling for any charges to be filed against anyone, just a swift response to insure the safety of the kids in school

"The thing I don't get is how you can support a president or anyone for that matter that is trying to strip you and other law abiding citizens of their rights" I challenge you to show me where anyone is being striped of ANY of their rights under Obama's executive action. Nowhere does it even suggest that anyone's guns will be taken away or any limits or bans will be introduced? -
I've known of some people using a bow to jack deer, I'm not sure there would be any difference if these airguns/airbows were made legal to hunt with

Big Guy, you can question the government all you want and it will have zero effect, the solution is very simple. Instead of wasting your time bitching about the government, which is pretty much a constant of most of the posts on this site, save yourself the grief and just go to your local store and buy all the ammmo you want

Expanding background checks and fighting the flow of illegal guns are two separate issues. Perhaps some of the additional money Obama is calling for can be used to fight the flow of illegally obtained guns. As it is already known our Justice system is broken and many crimes go unpunished and many laws go unenforced. However we should all agree that doing everything that is possible to keep those who should not have guns from getting them should be a priority. -
Simple solution, get in car, drive to store and buy all the ammo you want, problem solved, now there's one less thing to hate the government about.
