    I’m at work but my two boys went out in the am. Older one saw three doe 45 yds. Younger guy saw 3 does 20 yards and a lamb at 5 yards. Rain chased them in for now. No bucks but they saw a couple of bucks driving around during daylight. A good sign. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Sitting this am with my son. He’s on top of mountain in a tree stand in the middle of a bunch of oaks. I’m in stand bordering a farm pasture. Colors are not peak yet still some green. First sit of year. Warm and no breeze at all. Happy to be out! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    I’ve traveled with ammo several times with no issues. Look up the specific carriers rules. Mostly notify agent as you check bag, keep in original box ammo came in, and limit is usually by weight. Every carrier is slightly different. Know before you go. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    I go with shot placement over caliber within reason. Archery the same as I hunt with compound, recurve and crossbow. Clear accurate shot whether a .300 win mag or my recurve arrow. But I personally would not hunt with a .22-250 for deer as I have many other better choices. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    I have never shot a deer with a .22-250, but I have taken a nice 8 pt in Texas with my .223 about 7 years ago. Heart shot it went 25 yards. It was not the gun I intended to use on that trip but the airline’s made the decision for me by breaking my scope on my 270. As others stated I would use a more suitable deer caliber.     Oil is a modern miracle to the entire world, no other substance right now is even close. All forms of energy have drawbacks to them but on an enormous scale oil is best right now.
