    I really just like potatoes however they are, lol. I like to use red potatoes, add cheddarjack, minced garlic, butter, skins left on, clumpy, some salt/pepper/milk onion powder(only time I really use it). Yummmmmmm We truly should have a dislike button, Haha.

    I have antler restrictions here(3K), and no doe tags for here. I only see these same 5 doe on cams, and deer density is very low here, just a personal choice not to shoot one of these 5 doe, I see daily. I have a spot in 3M that has a VERY high deer density, and no antler restrictions, so I would rather use my bow tag there, on a doe.

    Yup welcome to Orange County. Basically everyone I know just use mineral blocks for "taking inventory on whats around" for camera use. It drives me insane, guys like my dad, and I go years between deer up here in 3k Sullivan, and those guys look at you like how can you have NOT seen a deer in a week....hmm, I wonder why. I also know a few who get old leftover doughnuts from Dunkin, for bear hunting. Funny how none of them get big bucks, but they are too lazy to think about about it. A little rant, sorry.

    Saw nothing. Cam picked up the usual 5 does, wherever I place the camera. As I was walking out I I saw these doe right by my backyard.

    That is what I am hoping, i had a cam in the area he came from, and headed back too. I have a card to swap when I get out of my stand next to that cam. I will do my best!

    Thank you, thats what I am seeing too. It gets a little confusing at times because not all their crossbows are listed with the same wording as far as their specs go. Powerstroke, is that the distance of travel from cocked to uncock where the bolt is propelled?

    I figured I would update this, my dad, and I bought the HSS safety system vest. We both like the quality, and find it very comfortable. Thank you for all the suggestions. Now we are safe.

    Im in my stand, i decides to try my stand that is the furthest in by the creek. I walked very slowly, and kept cover all the way in.

    Thanks Moog! Just wanted to share my excitement. Even on my 37 miles commute through the woods dsily, I have not seen many bucks. This particular deer was honestly the largest I have seen this year.

    Speechless. Just sickens me how people can be. I truly hope things get sorted out for you. Nothing irritates me more than seeing someones hard earned belongings screwed with for zero reason.

    I appreciate that, and I will definitely be out. I will look at the wind etc, and try to make the best choice. I can only base it on where I assume the deer are though. Trail cams never really give me any consistency. I might buy a couple cameras tonight, even though its late.

    Oh, by the way, the one tree stand that I mentioned that I have further in, by a small creek, is in the vicinity of where that stand is, plus a camera is located.

    My girlfriend, and I just came back from the pizzeria. Well 2 houses up...which is roughly a thousand feet up the road was a big 8 pointer! He had a body that reminded me of my big deer I got here in 2014, which was weighed in at 175 lbs dressed. This deee had a nice symmetrical rack, with what appeared to be 4 or 5 inch tines. The body on that deer did not jiggle AT ALL. He was headed from my side of the road, but as we approach in our vehicle he went back the way he came. Behind these 2 homes, is where i have sole permission. I needed to see that tonight, definitely boosted my hopes. I never give up regardless until seasons over though. Had to share with you guys.
