Salt damage? Not being a wiseguy, but hows that happen? Its just a layer of concrete over the cinderblocks, that is coming off in a couple spots. I will have to take a pic for you.

Hey guys, odd topic, but I was curious if any of you have fixed up a foundation before on a home. My homes foundation is in good shape, but it has like a thin podge layer, that is starting to seperate off the blocks. I want to recoat that. I am a DIYer, but do realize sometimes jobs are better to hire for, due to time, and skill, etc. Is this just a normal coat of concrete, or morter that gets coated over the block? Any input for me? I am going to start researching online, but always like opinions from those who have experience, and are not out to take my money. Thanks. Also, possibly might add stone to it, not sure though honestly. I know with stone indoors, I added this mesh, and a skim coat of mortar with a serrated trowel....I imagine it is the same process for exterior.

Glad you enjoy them, tomorrow is our last full day, depressing, I want to live here so bad. Everyone is so nice, its slower paced. Everyone works, no one tailgates you, no trash on roadsides, and so on. Jen actually enjoys it, I bought the best reviewed seat I could find, as well as it has a lot of storage in it for groceries, extra fuel, the helmets, etc. That box has her comfy for hours, and hours. What also helped, was the 8" rise foot pegs, that get bolted the floor boards. They help her stay up in the seat securely. We do plan on a 50" side by side hopefully within 2-3 yrs tops.

We made our first lobster tails tonight, nice dinner.

Nice ride today near Rockwood, Maine. Quiet trails, and very technical for us noobies, but we handled it, and a great time. Not too many pics, due to being in the woods mostly, but a nice scenic area at one small spot. We did about 30 miles today, short rides, but great times.

After 30 miles today on rough rocky steep trails, I vote power steering too! At one point the handle bar yanked out of my hand, and we were teder toddering about to tip over.

Last nights dinner in Rockwood, Maine. Cheeseburger with bacon, swiss, romaine, red onion, tomato, pickles, jalapenos on a griddled roll.
