  1. I’m in my stand, was out most of the day yesterday. Sitting for a bear, or yote. Just want to be out here, and see what there is to see. warmer than I expected, 35 degrees, no wind, very quiet, sun trying to poke out, had a quick sprinkle of sleet.
  2. Sausage/garlic/broccoli rabe and a sausage n pepper roll
  3. Made Shramp tacos with seasoning, and garden tomato. @turkeyfeathers & @Mrs.Turkeyfeathers sent us. VERY good, very subtle flavoring, that is difficult to describe. Much appreciated
  4. I hope its the 14 pointer i saw at Korn’s last year! That’s not a joke either
  5. Happy Birthday G! Hope you have a nice day
  6. Venison sliders(not my deer), brussels, and sweet tater pucks, on fine China. Burger seasoned with taco seasoning sent from @turkeyfeathers and @Mrs.Turkeyfeathers.
  7. We thought that too with our parks lol. Figured one more time, we will go in, mow low, and a thorough cleanup. I think we are in the same boat as you. Fingers crossed for you.
  8. Nope, probably 2 more. I feel like its going to be year of a mow in December. I don’t know, this time of year is usually crazy up/down. It is like we have a cold few weeks, warm spell, back to chilly/cold, etc. Looks good though.
  9. I love ears back, but these pictured are slanted back AND down. My mount that I already have has ears back that follow the main beams like yours, which I love. The ears seems tipped down make it appear as hes annoyed, or trying to intimidate, which is what I meant by ready to fight. Im referring to these two.
  10. I appreciate the input, I always enjoy your replies to me. This gives me more ideas on what to decide. I might have the ears put back in some type of distress poss, since it was not a pleasant harvest.
  11. Hey, that’s a great idea! I am looking forward to it, its going to very special adding the bionic rub to venison.
  12. 7 points for Team 1, I know I know, these pics are played out. Sorry not sorry lol.
  13. @Moho81 this is beautiful. I very much want a posture that reminds me what he, and I went through. I want the pose to remind me of that day, not something that makes him look like a picture perfect buck you saw in a field, at sunset driving home. I am still leaning towards what I posted before, with ears back...still very open to ideas
  14. I tried the other night, website redirect would not load in my phone, or Smart TV...the automated phone voice sounds like a drunk alien robot at times. Finally found that they have an app to report.
  15. The pedestals that I have seen in person, I honestly did not care for, I do not like the harsh neck turn, etc. i will google though, and see if I am missing something though. Might start a thread too! I am still blown away
  16. I am thinking about a shoulder mount like this. Right turn, head down a little, ears back, but not mad ears as pictured.
  17. You nailed it. I say that too honestly. I also say these deer can get hit by a train, car, etc, and be wasted. I am not looking for attention, but I have always been fortunate in having one shot, good kills. I never had to experience the sight of the deer actually dying. I knew it happens, but to have messed up the shot, and having to have had to follow this guy, was a rough experience. I realize this isn’t something that only I have experienced, but this is the first for me, and it been tough. Like I said, I am not looking for attention, but I am just being honest with this entire situation.
  18. I keep running out of likes guys! You guys are awesome, I appreciate all the comments, I truly cannot keep up.
  19. lol, i am looking forward to staring at him up on the wall. I know you are joking, but priceless to me, I owe it to this buck.
  20. I appreciate that a lot. You definitely do understand my satisfaction, I love animals honestly more than people, and some people do not understand how that can be, since I hunt. It is something I cannot put into words. It all just means so much to me, it is dreams that are coming true. Some take it for granted, not me, i keep reliving what I put that deer through, and it’s bothering me a lot.
