  1. There are some Ford SD’s with death wobble but it is becoming less, and less common from what I see. As you said about the early 3.5’s(assuming intercoolor freeze up) the Superduty’s as a whole get a bad rap for death wobble. It’s unfortunate that Mowin is dealing with that. I did hear somewhere though, might have been YouTube, about a lawsuit against Ford regarding death wobble. For reference, one of our 2012 1 ton’s has it, but its beat to snot plowing roads/cul-de-sac’s with a 9’ V-plow. Sometimes it’s as easy of a fix as torquing the trac bar bolt up top, they require in the ballpark of 396 lb ft of torque, crazy tight. Not trying to prove you wrong, or anything....just know your a Ford guy too. I don’t have experience with 1/2 tons Big Val, only first hand experience with 3/4, and 1 tons. FWIW, a coworker has a 19 F150 3.5 with “max tow” package....he loves it, has over 20k on it, been great. He wants to add air bags to the rear to assist in the camper he pulls.
  2. Haha! You were searching allll dayyyy, and allll niiiight weren’t you?? lol
  3. “Spaghetti” squash, with meatsauce looks like crap, but is different in a good way.
  4. Great memories made there, thanks for sharing.
  5. I ended up giving my dad that Rhino 100 blind for helping me build the tower. He felt bad accepting it, but he deserves it. I just ordered an Ameristep Caretaker for myself.
  6. lol, no woman is kicking me to any couch, but that’s funny though! I am actually in the tower now grilling steaks.
  7. Thats has actually been an idea I had! And thank you.
  8. Thanks Rob, I have had this project on my mind for 2 yrs, but never got around to it. I sat out there for a couple of hours after cleaning everything up, and putting all the tools away, and it was very satisfying, after all the work.
  9. 4’x6’ interior. Plenty. That Adirondack chair is pretty big. I did not plan on using that chair, but i find it soooo comfortable.
  10. Never made Stromboli, but this is my version. Ham, Salami, pepperoni, and fresh Mozzarella
  11. A good bit of guys here seem too. My new blind delivers tomorrow, and I am looking forward to it. I have used blinds, but never brushed one in. It seems obvious as to how to do this, but would still be nice to see how others do this.
  12. Thank you, I plan to set it up to air it out a little at home prior. I hear the blinds can have a plastic smell, so at this point I will sit inside with a gun, and crossbow, and see what it is like.
  13. I leave that quiver on, but the other 2 arrows are behind me. Its a simple quiver to remove, but it always loosens up, Pretty annoying, need a small dab of loctite.
  14. Wasn’t going to bow hunt this year, but decided to sit in my “nose bleed” stand this afternoon
  15. Actually bought the Rhino 100, looks similar to the Ameristep Brickhouse I like most. Went with the Rhino due to faster shipping. I like the straight walls, and wanted to try it.
  16. Yeah i looked at the Redneck blinds, but like i said for a handful of times a year I will use it, it’s plenty. I am not a whole lot deeper in cost for my full tower build than the Redneck softs. I will yank the cheapy portable blind each trip, plan to use it up at camp, so I will haul it back/forth home to camp. I have my new tower, so I will be spending the majority of my sits in that.
