Ok, so after reading this and Rob’s post, is this awesome site starting to stall? New folks can’t join? I don’t want to see it go “poof”! What does it generally cost to operate a site like this? Have to own a server, keep it updated, and pay for web hosting? Other costs? I’d bet we have enough interested folks to cost share and keep the per member price reasonable, right? Im certainly not looking for a mutiny, just preservation!

Good Lord - what an ordeal for that guy!!

I'm neutral on the $$. I tried donating for the supporter thing back in '16 and again in '17 but that never went through and I wasn't charged. Figured it was the least I could do for a site that gives me enjoyment and info. I just want to rock one of the shirts at the next GTG and in my next pic of me holding a gnarly 10 pointer!

It would be nice to at least hear something...

Supposed to be in the mid 80’s here today. Just curious, you guys got enormous coolers for your deer? I’d be worried about having a dead deer in this heat. Especially if it wasn’t an instant recovery. Are processors up and running yet?

Thanks Rob! I get a few good ones, but delete 99.9%. And I only post the good ones for the most part. Running 16 cams right now, and have them all set for max sensitivity, the shortest delay, and the most pics per trigger. These cards were out since the first week of September and were loaded with pics so I’m bound to get a good one here and there. I have 4 cards to go through yet, two of them have about 4500 pics, and the one I put on an annual scrape site has 7600 pics. I glanced through that one already, seems to be very few empty pics. What a pain to go through, but fun to get some good ones. I’ve never been a trapper (although interested some day) but I imagine it sort of feels like checking your trap line. Never know what’s on there! I have a separate folder on my PC for each year for all of my saved pics and I’ve got photos back to the old film trail camera days. Back to around 2004 or 2005 I think. All taken here and cams have always been left out year round.
