Wonder how old that was! -
Wow, 16 mows! I think I’m around 6-7 in the yard and brush hogged my field edge trails once. Or actually 1/2. Your lawn looks plush!

Dash cams ,,,,anybody use one ?

The one I have has a shock sensor. When it detects a crash it moves the file to another folder that does not get overwritten. Pretty sensitive, I've had bad potholes trigger it. Also, there is a button on the side that you can hit to save the current video in another non-overwritable folder. Handy for near misses, deer, pretty girls... -
That is one gorgeous car!!

Happy Birthday! -
I've had two Chevy's (one Blazer and a 1/2 ton P/U), a GMC Jimmy, Ford F-150, Ford Bronco, Dodge Ramcharger, Dodge 1/2 ton P/U, and am on my second Tundra. Best -Tundra. The last one I drove for 7 years and had no repairs except for batteries, brakes, tires. And I don't really consider those repairs, just maintenance. Only got rid of it as rodents chewed up my wiring harness. Kept it for a year after that and then the repaired harness started giving me random electrical problems. It was 4 years old when I bought it. Still got over $10k on my trade. Worst - Dodge 1/2 ton P/U. Kept that for 10 years and spent as much on repairs over the time period as I did to buy the dang thing. Had the 7/70,000 warranty and the transmission gave out at 71k. IIRC it was 70,700 on the odometer. Dealer/factory wouldn't do a thing to help me out. Had a $3k repair bill on a 4 year old truck - was not a happy Dodge owner and because of that experience will never be a Dodge owner again. Dealer actually ridiculed me for asking for some help with the situation. I remember him laughing and saying "what do you think the 70 in 7/70 means"? 1-2 grand in repairs every year after that, and rust holes at the 5 year old mark despite lots of washing and waxing. The Fords were problem free, but severe corrosion was my enemy for those. Chevy truck threw a rod at 90k miles. Blazer was burning a lot of oil at less than 100k miles.

Happened back on May 15th, but this just was reported on one of my local news sites. Glad he just took one pellet, could have been worse! https://www.mytwintiers.com/news/local-news/hunter-shot-in-steuben-county-while-turkey-hunting/2055981601

Yup, at least this one. She had a porcupine pal too.

Not all of them. Ours lives in our chicken coop with the birds but will come in to visit. Very affectionate and will crawl into my lap and purr endlessly. Best friends with our foo-foo dog too.

Yup, have a lower end Garmin in the commute car. Was having an unhealthy lunch sitting in my car at a Burger King last fall. Had a guy back his truck into me. He seemed to want to give me some double talk about it. When the cop showed, he saw the dash cam and asked if I had it on cam. I said yes, and that ended any double talking. $2000 of damage. -
Stormy, Stormy, Stormy.. When you were younger, did you ever get a report card sent home with the comment "does not play nice with others"? In case you're a little slow to pick up on things, it's bad form in the least to disparage an item that another is trying to sell. You can understand that, right? I typed it really slow to make it easier for you.

I actually agree with NY legislators on something for once. And if Cuomo signs it, I'll actually <gulp> agree with him as well. https://www.apnews.com/34c581f6a2114a8399a2a187ab8163f6 I was never a cat person and went through 55 years of my life without owing one until someone dumped one on us one summer night a few years ago. We couldn't give her away so we kept her as an outdoor cat. While at the vets office getting her up to code, I learned about how declawing is done. For those who don't know, they basically amputate each toe up to the first joint. Pretty barbaric!

Had to stop the car down the road from the house this morning to let one wobble-walk across the road. It was like he didn't like the feel of the pavement on his hooves. Damn cute - makes you want one for a pet!

Yelling Goat GTG Friday June 28th / 7 pm
Steuben Jerry replied to turkeyfeathers's topic in General Chit Chat
Thinking more and more of making this trip! If I can finagle a slightly earlier start that day as I'd be coming straight from work. I'd be coming in from east of Syracuse. About 5-6 total hours on the road, work > goat > home. Met a few of you last summer in Geneva, and unfortunately missed a GTG right in my area back in January due to a killer sinus infection. This one looks like a must-attend. -

Imagine event center on Military Rd. We met friends from Rochester at the New York Brew Project in Lockport to gather before the show. Hold On/Surf City may ring a bell? -
