    I’ve had some nice deer directly below my stand, a 20 lb rock would’ve been the right method. With painted on crosshairs obviously. I imagine it ruins a lot of racks though. Good doe method at least.

    Raining a bit here, but should end shortly. Probably just long enough to get me soaked for the walk out. Don’t feel like messing with the rain gear.

    No birds seen. Three distant gobbles around 9:00. Quiet and foggy morning.

    Light drizzle here, but looks like no real rain coming. Need a second cup of coffee and I’m out the door for the first time this season. Let’s go birds!

    A buddy does the bacon wrap thing with his birds, works great. I usually sample the turkey and inhale the bacon!

    I try to be a good friend! I even went out the night before and put a popup blind up for them. I'll be starting there in the morning.

    Let a friend and his co-worker hunt my place this morning. They doubled up on a pair of Jakes. So now the easy ones are gone and I'll have to work for one of the longbeards! My first time out will be tomorrow morning as long as it's not pouring.

    I've got that same blower. Had it for about 10 years now and haven't done a thing to it, not even change the spark plug. Starts on the first or second pull every single time. Goes and blows.

    Remington 870 12 gauge. Got it as a teenager, and will be carrying it tomorrow morning. Lots of good memories with that gun.
