  1. The only possible reason I can think of that would motivate someone to have this made is for one of those over the top haunted house attractions that pop up a month before Halloween. But even then...
  2. If I was to start hunting them, I think I'd go with a guided hunt first. Just to learn the nuances. I'm told these guys are highly recommended.
  3. I've got big hands and big feet. I always thought that let me carry more, and with more stability. There are no other attributes I should know about, are there?
  4. Bill, don't take it personally, and certainly not so bad you leave the site! This is the long lull between deer and turkey seasons. And it's been a doozy winter. The majority of folks view Sasquatch as a myth so you've got to figure some humorous poking will be happening. Roll with it and try to have some fun back. I've seen some good humor from you in the past, roll with it. Now, back to the topic, if I did hunt that sucker, do I prepare the meat similar to venison, or are there trichinosis worries?
  5. Those damn Chupacabras are a nuisance too. I'm going broke trying to keep my deer bait pile up. Those things are eating me out of house and home!
  6. If in season, sure, why not? But only if I can use a 223 at a ridiculous range. For those shot opportunities around 100 yds or less, I could switch to a crossbow. Inside of 50 I could go to the airbow or Atlatl.
  7. Fixed it for ya - It's all irrelevant until the Bills can get past any team can get past their conference rivals.
  8. Jets are going after Bridgewater Browns are rumored to want Barkley at #1 Darnold doesn't make the cut (at least for me). I'd bet he goes below top 10. Buffalo can import eye candy from the finest locales. Mayfield at #2. Jackson to the Bills in the third round - as a wide receiver.
  9. Bradford is signing with the Cardinals, Cousins is signing with the Vikings. It's getting clearer! Mayfield at #2!
  10. I think you’re spot on with the trade scenario, but I hope they pass on Darnold and pick Mayfield.
  11. Busy few days! They signed Lotulelei this morning and for lunch they resigned Williams for a 1 year deal. TF - No trades for the long snapper yet.
  12. I use a golden rod. Can't say I've actually measured the humidity inside the safe, but after 3-4 years, I haven't had any issues in a mildly damp basement.
  13. I think you're right. If they did have a chance at Mayfield or Rosen, I think either might still be a good bet to start sometime in his first season.
  14. I was unsure after the Taylor trade, but after seeing them trade Cordy Glenn and move up to #12, I am convinced they are moving up to select the rookie QB that they covet. They either package some pics to trade with the Giants for the #2 spot, or they just may have this or another deal set up and handshaked already. But I do believe they're moving up. I had a soft spot for Doug Whaley as I never really thought he had free reign on running the team like other traditional GM's. But this Beane guy is legit so far. And Ballzy! "And in the second round of the 2018 NFL draft, the Buffalo Bills select Baker Mayfield." At least that's my hope! Go get him, Beane!
  15. We have a lot in common, same exact scenario for me, right down to the truck not moving. I may have beat you by just a little bit, took me 49 and 1/2 yrs.
  16. 86 acres, about 75% wooded, with permission on neighboring properties totaling another 120-ish. Larger landowners behind me and north of me are picky with what they take, and don't take much.
  17. Not really suitable for the interstate system, but we usually bring them to the hanging pole with this.
  18. Don't get it too close, I ruined a great pair of boots that way!
  19. The bearded ones are rare these days. Most of them fell out of favor by the late 80's. Or so I'm told.
