  1. I saw another article on this last night. Seems they're going to have a similar ambiguous description similar to the unsafe act. The article didn't say what it was so I don't know if going featureless or pinning a mag remedies it.
  2. Just saw this. Surrender them or face a $1000/day fine. Nah, they don't want to take your guns away... http://insider.foxnews.com/2018/04/04/town-near-chicago-votes-ban-assault-weapons-high-capacity-magazines
  3. Congrats on your retirement and best of luck on your new adventure!
  4. Just guessing that it's a harvest report based on tag allocations.
  5. ..that the bullhead would be biting soon. If there was a time to have worms, this would be the time. Thinking that, Grampy was anxious to get outside in this fine springtime weather. After a short drive to his favorite secret fishing hole, he was hiking down the switchback path to the water. Descending the trail, he realized it was oddly quiet. Too quiet for such a spring day. No birds, no wind, just calm silence. He nervously glanced to either side of the trail. His hair starting to raise, he cautiously moved forward, second guessing his choice of fishing spots. As he approached the crystal clear, moving water he noticed, there on the ground....
  6. ...they were horrified to see a tall, hulking, hair covered figure blocking their way. As the unidentifiable figure menacingly approached them, they strained their eyes to make out exactly what they were looking at. Was it a Squatch?, Moog in a ghillie suit? Suddenly, their blood ran cold as they realized what it was...
  7. As Biz pondered this new development, he felt a little queasy at the thought of his pending fate at the hands of Mr. B. He decided to make a break for it. Running through the leaf blown trails, he spotted River's stand. He climbed up and hunkered down. He knew he was at least temporarily safe, as no one would think to look for Biz in a tree-stand. After all, he was certainly no cheater! As he hid in the stand, he heard a noise approaching. Kind of like an ATV, but he also heard voices. As the noise crept closer and closer, he spotted a new side by side, and finally recognized the voice as a radio broadcast of an Alex Jones show. Hoping this was his lucky break, he jumped out of the stand, and ran up to greet the driver of the side by side. "Papist" Biz gratefully shouted and he jumped in the passenger side. The driver turned his head to face him and...
  8. As they were traveling, they rounded a bend and saw a deer laying in the road. A small button buck, hit by a car but still alive. They stopped the tractor, and as they were pondering what to do next, a shot rang out from the nearby brush. Everyone was startled, but then noticed the button buck had stopped moving. With no obvious wounds, they were puzzled by the circumstances. "Who's there?" shouted WNYBuckhunter. Hearing a rustling in the brush, a shadowy figure emerged. It was Wolc123. It was obvious now, that the young button buck was dispatched with the patented Texas Heart Shot, a shot requiring great skill, and reserved for only the most unique circumstances. As Wolc123 approached the group, he set down his rifle and said...
  9. Congratulations on reaching that life milestone! Enjoy your retirement!
  10. I know that you weren't insinuating that he had any, but it's a rare day when you see the words "common sense" and "Cuomo" in the same sentence.
  11. Hmm I'm interested in this thread as I'm about 17 years behind you. I'm already earmarking hunting stuff for the daughters, grandson, etc. But I sure hope that's a long ways away. I'm hoping an ATV extends my activities a few years.
  12. She could help me overcome any fears I had...
  13. My wife and I had a husky many years ago right after we got married. She was pretty indestructible (the dog, not my wife - lol). I bet that puppy in the Gif was thinking "weeeeeeeee".
  14. I absolutely remember all of that. But it wasn't from celebrities, MSM, athletes, musicians, etc like it is with Trump. And it certainly was not to the levels it is with Trump. Trump pushed the birther issue, but he was a private citizen at the time. All that said, Trump is easy to dislike because in this day and age, style is preferred over substance. And that's what we had from 2008-2016. I don't think he was elected because everybody liked him, but I do wish he'd polish up his act a bit. He does need to win again in 2020 and can't afford to pizz away votes.
  15. I ran into that at the JD dealer when I financed mine. It was a "duh" moment for me as I guess I should have known that. Anyways, I found the day before the delivery day, and now I was stalling the process. The dealer had a quickly deployable policy that IIRC cost about $150 maybe? It covered it for the life of the loan for that price. Tractor showed up next day as planned.
  16. That sucks - hate thieves! I had walked up to mine in the dark twice over the last 10-ish years and found no blind where it was supposed to be. Both times I found it later within 100 yards. Bears. No doubt as the second time he pooped on the wrecked remains.
  17. The top one is sexy, and the bottom one is pretty...
  18. Well, then let's see if our public officials can do anything to change that outcome! Where's Shumer? Cuomo? I'm sure there will be a camera or two in Ilion today for them to race in front of..
