Buck down! Daughter waited for legal light and dropped this guy at the first minute! 8 point from the tower at 110 yards. She’s off to a fast start! I’m the camp cook this morning, but looks like I’m getting out shortly! Breakfast with Evie - skull shaped eggs!

Good luck this morning everyone! I’m staying back with our 3 yr old granddaughter so wife and daughter can get out this morning. Wife is staying back later so daughter and I will be out for the afternoon shift. Whipping up a big breakfast shortly. Got the great news last night that we’ll have an extra for deer season next year - daughter is pregnant! This will be their second child, and our 5th grandchild. Over the moon! 2020 has a silver lining for us after all. Now we need to cap it off with bucks!

From King Andy's Covid site: Traveler Health Form A travel enforcement operation will commence at airports across the state to help ensure travelers are following the state's travel restrictions. As part of the enforcement operation, enforcement teams will be stationed at airports statewide to meet arriving aircrafts at gates and greet disembarking passengers to request proof of completion of the State Department of Health traveler form, which is being distributed to passengers by airlines prior to, and upon boarding or disembarking flights to New York State. All out-of-state travelers must complete the form upon entering New York. Travelers who leave the airport without completing the form will be subject to a $10,000 fine and may be brought to a hearing and ordered to complete mandatory quarantine. Travelers coming to New York through other means of transport, including trains and cars, must fill out the form online. Geez, I know this is all serious, but $10,000? Holy crap!

Interested in this, been eyeballing that one for a while.

When I first started hunting, I was on some state land in Cameron for an afternoon hunt. This was either my first or second year hunting, and definitely my first time hunting state land. There was a ridge I wanted to get to. As I was approaching it, a hunter in a hang on stand started yelling at me to GTFO of his area. Scared the crap out of me as I never saw him until he yelled. Called me every name in the book for "stomping around on his spot" I was new to the game and wanted to be courteous so I backed out immediately. Kind of with my tail between my legs as I felt I screwed him up. I even said I was sorry and got a pissed off "F*** you" in return. Later that night, my buddy's 80 year old uncle, whom we were hunting with that day told me the guy was wrong and I should have stood my ground. Even if I knew my rights I don't think I would have argued with that guy. I was alone and he was so pissed off and over the top about it, I didn't think I was going to get out of there in one piece. Definitely left an impression on a newbie hunter. The only time I went back to that piece of state land was in September one year to shoot tree rats.

Yup, Steuben county is pretty much hunted out for whitetails. I may have even taken the last doe last weekend. Oh well, with no more bucks around, she wasn't going to get bred anyway.

So sorry you’re going through that. We’ve had to put two down. It’s heartbreaking. Take comfort that you gave her a good life and she loves you for it. Enjoy every minute with her!

I don't personally attach any politics to the vaccine. I just don't want the Covid. I used to get the flu every damn year when I was younger. In my 40's I started getting the flu vaccine annually without fail. I've only gotten the flu once since, and I'm not even sure that was actually the flu. I'm not pro or con with vaccines. I'm just a big baby when I get sick and I hate it.

I don't know about first in line, but I'll seek it out early enough. I'd probably rather have side effects instead of Covid.
