Sometimes they double your member discount and ship free so that's when its a good deal. I would say get a shopping list together and wait for the member exclusive deals.

Nasty things. I had one in my back yard at my old house. They had guards out at night even and were on the ready. I had to poke a hole in the nest and spray so I got the inside.

Wow! I started this thread because I just wanted to make sure that if I had a chance at a buck during early bow I could shoot one in 8n. I'll be out there either way because I love sitting in the woods.

Have you turned your iPhone off and let it sit off for a few minutes? I have to do that every now and then to make it work right. just a thought.

So I've been reading about targeting bucks that have goofy characteristics like missing brow tines and un even racks so they don't pass on their genes but haven't really cared much. I kinda like the unique looks... until I got a buck on a trail cam that is way out of symmetry. He is an 8 point that has 4 points on both sides but one side is missing a brow tine or may just end up being a 9 point with a tiny nub of a brow tine and one is broke or bent at the end. One side is also way inside the ear and one is outside the ear. My buck from last year was a great 9 with a 22" spread but only had 1 brow tine that was 1 inch or so. I have several other small 4 and 6 all with both brow tines. Last year with my first year ever hunting and getting a great 9 point buck I raised my bar of expectation exponentially. This year taking up bow I decided that is like starting all over again and can have a little more freedom of what bucks I target. Should I target these goofy one or no brow tine bucks or let them grow? Will this 8-9 point change next year and become a bigger more symmetrical looking buck, Did the lack of water affect the growth or do I take advantage of his uniqueness this year and take him if given the chance? I am looking forward to when I can let a nice 8 walk by and let him live to see what he looks like next year but am not sure I will have it in me just yet.

This morning is a lesson about wind! First shot was the one on the left. Went to Bullseye's customer appreciation day yesterday in Bloomfield. My four year old one a dozen fmj's that he nicely gave to me. I don't think I would have bought such expensive arrows so that's pretty cool.

It was last night but I really hate using a phone while socializing. It's so annoying to me that if I ever find myself on the phone while I should be conversing and enjoying the company of others I am annoyed with myself. Lol

So am I reading it right that even though the 2016-2017 hunting guide magazine says antlerless only during early bow, the dec announced that it is rescinded and now I can bow hunt for an antlered deer in 8n in the early bow season? If so I'm a little stoked since this will be my first bow season. http://www.dec.ny.gov/press/107223.html

So I had some time and racked my brain. There were only a few other spots that I was trying out cams and I finally found it. I was so excited to pull that card because it has been sitting since snow was on the ground. Batteries were still good because I forgot to turn it on. Major bummer

These are not my first shots but they are the second third and fourth at 20 yards

Wow, did that make a difference at 15 yards.

Btw I went to bullseye this morning and even though they were busy setting up they spent a little time to set me up with my bow and give me some pointers. I now shoot with a release instead of my fingers and am comfortable at 20 or so yards without my arrows swerving instead of swerving at 15
