  1. Great site for the plaques....what size did you choose? Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  2. Was the steelhead caught or store bought? Wild steelhead is great smoked. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  3. Best....Moose steak my buddies wife prepared after he took a nice Bull Moose a few years back in Newfoundland. Worst....a small mouth bass we caught when I was about 16. My mom always said you catch it....I'll cook and most of the time her game dishes wee great...this one unfortunately was awful and I have sworn off bass ever since... simply catch and release from now on. 4. Do you think management is trained...or told to deal with all situations internally to prevent a lawsuit against the store?? Maybe if the cops were called the wacko family would have turned it into a lawsuit against Dicks for harassment...and picked up a few quick bucks in a settlement? Just a thought ... 5. Settled in and ready to rock.....snow machine just kicked in breeze and snowing in 9h!! Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  6. The property is managed as is.....nobody bow hunts it at the owners request since he is older and doesn't any more. He does crossbow hunt and that's when the season begins. No limits on age or antler size....you shoot what you want and and just don't be greedy by shooting to many. The owner also likes to get does with fawns in toe walk. This just works for this property....and usually produces 4-5 bucks a year and 3-5 doe. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  7. A camp I visit in Belmont did pretty well this year.....this was the biggest guy taken off the property with a mix of doe and 4-6pters. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  8. If all goes good I will be out Sat afternoon...our new spot offers some nice afternoon activity...then give it a go at least one day of late muzzle loader.....all depends on how much snow decides to pile up in the next week or so. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  9. Was ready to a close property for a few hours...but made the call around 5:30 to stay home. Tis the season for the family to get sick one by one and right now the wife and 8 month old are coughing and sound like crap. Good luck to everyone....today should be labeled "fill the freezer" day! Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  10. Real nice deer....Once again Your Dad earned that buck! Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  11. Alot of guys on here will tell you late ML season is the best....myself included. These inlines are a ton 0f fun to shoot and the woods and deer population calms down and returns to an archery season type feel. Personally haven't taken a buck in the late season, and that is another driving factor for me to try and hit the woods for that last minute pursuit of bone! Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  12. Two weekends left for shotgun/rifle.....the 10 days to dance with the smokepole. Gotta love the late season....hunkered down get warm and wait for a big ole doe....and if a nice Buck presents itself...the Buck is history! Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  13. A little Hayburner to relax with this evening! Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  14. Bone on the ground!!! Best sight we have had in a few days on "live from the stand"!!!! Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  15. Same deer in both pics? Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  16. Bad day hunting....better then a great day at work!! It can change in the blink of eye! Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  17. That's pretty cool....didn't realize it was a 4 day season. Seems like a fun diy trip! Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  18. They were jumping off my NY buck as soon as that guy hit the dirt....freaking disgusting and thank God we had a hitch haul No need to to that sucker in my dad's truck or my trailblazer! Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  19. I will try Buck an Doe.....shot a decent buck this year and got the typical 35 back like you did, was a little miffed bit accepted it since I chose to go there and not do it myself. Liked the dogs....but did pay for the cube steaks. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  20. I go to the deer shop..cube steaks are great and I also grabbed some cheddar jalapeno digs this year too! Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  21. TF...did you process yourself or drop off locally? And if so did you get the cube steaks from them? Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  22. Low and slow !! Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  23. Are you the land owner?? Man cut the guy some slack....sounds like from his side of the story he has provided ample work in return for hunting rights. We all know money doesn't make this world go around, and when the snow piles up this winter the home owner may realize that too. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  24. Little to no wind on this clear crisp morning in southern 9g. Nice dusting of wet snow kept the walk in nice and quiet....lookin for momma or poppa today! Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
