  1. I shoot in the southern league in the hunter class and we are looking for a few guys this year. We took 1st in the B class shoot off last year and 2nd overall in Hunter class, and two guys decided to make the move to open this year. Anyone interested in shooting send me a PM....We shoot early so we are home by 10:30 most Sundays...Unless we shoot a double. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  2. TC what setup are you using for fletching...Also what glue/adhesive? Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  3. Congrats Rob!!! What an awesome Christmas you will never forget! Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  4. Or when you do get floaters...Just use cheese cloth doubled up to strain it when pouring! Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  5. First memory from the season was gaining nice trail cam intelligence on a couple of trophy bucks that Cruze the property and then watching them throughout the season. One as far as I know made it....The other fell victim to a well deserving neighbor. Second was when my wife brought my 2.5 year old son to the property after I shot my Archery Buck this year. He was so pumped to be there with his boots on and to be helping Dad and Jagi(grandpa in polish) drag and load the deer to take home. The kid is now hooked and always ask to go with us....And always says Dad shoot a big buck for me! Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  6. Let the Singing begin! Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  7. Magic time is upon us! Feels good to be out for the minutes of a long season! Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  8. Getting the itch as I sit at work.....Gonna try for the last second hail Mary it ain't over till the tubby lady is singing in a few hours.....My dad will get in the woods around 2 and if all goes right I will be posted up by 3:55. Gonna hope the deer decide to travel to the open fields to graze and hopefully we get a poke at one! Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  9. Do a little research and figure out how to add Kodi to that fire stick....You will be amazed at what you can stream. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  10. Yep....They all suck. I went round and round one time with a Verizon sales person who was trying to get us to switch from time Warner. When the dust settled and the smoke cleared they saved me a whopping 5 bucks a month for a year....And in fine print it jumped in price for year two! That's when I politely told them to shove it and stop wasting my time. I need to square away an alternative streaming device...And just cut the cord! Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  11. 3d archery winter league....Sit a few times on the lease for coyotes and in a friends backyard. My wife and I will also be spending a few weekends teaching/exposing our 2.5 year old to skiing. He is pumped and loves being outside every waking minute and hates when I leave for hunting in the morning, so he will be excited he gets to go with us skiing. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  12. Pretty sure big time Muskie Fisherman were still hitting the Niagara River hard up until last week. Not alot of guys out there....But the true diehards I heard were doing quite well. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  13. Yea I think we talked about how it was in years past. The southern league was really struggling for teams last year ...We shall see how this year goes. S&s has an indoor 3d league...I may make the switch next year...You can shoot on week nights and you don't have to be committed to a certain morning. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  14. Just throwing this out there....The league is looking for teams if anyone is interested. Need at minimum 3 people and max 6. You need to shoot all 12 weeks in order to complete for prizes in the shoot off on 4/2/17. My team is in the early stages of organizing for the season...We may be looking for a shooter or two. PM me with questions. We shoot early in order to have the rest of the day to be with family or get things done that are impossible to accomplish during the busy work week. 15. How was the tartar served...Had it a few years ago for the first time and loved it served with raw egg. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  16. I think they perform well for their price point....I use them when I shoot 3d archery in the wny winter league and they do well helping identify x ring in low light situations. When hunting I usually sit on an inside corner of a cornfield and can clearly see across this field to pick out turkey beards or head gear on the deer. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  17. Made it out of the house by 6:50....Weather was pretty crappy and rods were not plowed.... Called my dad and between the access road we need to travel down to get off the highway and the bad driving conditions we pulled the plug and I grabbed coffee for my wife and returned home to clean the driveway. Will re access the and hopefully get back out before closing on Tuesday! Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  18. Both above posts could be true.....Liver would be my guess. Quartering to is not a slam dunk with a bow.....Really need to bare down and concentrate or your arrow will fade from intended point of impact. My guess is liver....And by letting it lay you may be able to recover this morning. Good luck to your nerphew! Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  19. I own and use the 8x42 vortex crossfire's for 3d archery and hunting. Nice price point and great customer service from Vortex if needed. You can always find them in sale too. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  20. Shot this big girl last year opening morning.....we didn't build the meat pole tall enough to hang and get a scale on the deer. That project of making the pole higher is on the to do list for the near future. Assuming she was pushing 150....but all I can tell you is she dwarfs that buck that was doggin her. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  21. Garbage men in my town deff get a tip.....you can pile it on when needed and they just fill the truck. Always nice when you plan a big clean out and they take it all from the curb. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  22. Oh boy....I as well am choking back the tears while I read your post. As many others have said there isn't much I can say or type to ease the pain...but I hope you have found peace this morning sitting in the woods that both you and your father enjoyed and loved so much! May our fellow brother rest in peace, and guide his family from a peaceful resting place up above! Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  23. What was the max before 40?? And bigger targets like moose or caribou could be 50? Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  24. I need to get my bow ready too, our league starts the January 8th....my pins weren't at the yardages that I like for hunter class. Need some fine tuning and refletching of some arrows and hopefully it won't take to long to get dialed in. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  25. Cool I will be ordering one for my Archery Buck shortly. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
