As Chris said the presentation is so close to a natural drift it's unreal. I have fished right next to a guy using one and he plucked steelhead after stealhead out of a drift that I didn't even get a nibble at. That technique with work for a bunch of different species....a quick youtube search brought up a bunch of small mouth videos too. Sent from my moto z3 using Tapatalk

Had had a few over the years. Had a dog house and another figure 8 fold up that I had a few wrestling matches with over the years. Those have both long been gone. As of recent I have been using a Cabela's blind(windows stink), a cheaper Ameristep that is now retired. The poles have been repaired a few times and it has its fair share of rips is still great for a backup. Also have a new Rhino 150....awesome blind and worth every penny. Last but not least I picked up a 3 man Ameristep silent brick house on clearance the other day at Walmart for 62.00.....was a deal I couldn't pass up and will be great for myself and two young boys this turkey season. I have a 35.00 tree umbrella vs. 700 KUIU. Or I hit up an enclosed blind or shack. Just busting balls...lol. On a side note I am a huge fan of SKRE.....great stuff, awesome customer service, and reasonably priced. Sent from my moto z3 using Tapatalk

Ok....with a few of us receiving the at home trapper course...and hopefully getting our certificates soon we can get in a few sets before the season is over. Wanted to start this thread to get us newbies going. What's recommended from real life experience vs. what the trapping class recommends? Where is a good place to buy equipment? Also post any tips or tricks that you have picked up along the way. 1st up....what's anyone with experience think about this kit? Sent from my moto z3 using Tapatalk

Water rat after browsing a bunch of previous posts on trapping so seem to have a great deal of experience. What do you personally do with the animals you trap? Do you target specific animals? Just curious. Sent from my moto z3 using Tapatalk

Agree totally ....there really isn't much in return for the investment. I am hoping to get my certificate and try a few sets for Coons before the season is over Feb. 15 I am just looking to trap 2 coons and turn them into hats for my boys. Sent from my moto z3 using Tapatalk

Thats a nice looking drag......what length bolts did you use? How do you keep it from bouncing around vs. digging in? Sent from my moto z3 using Tapatalk

The prize at the end of the rainbow wouldn't be as valuable........you got this! And then knock down that red population you have at your Dad's property. Sent from my moto z3 using Tapatalk

Agree.......take the 90 to silver creek exit and you have Silver creek, Walnut creek, and Cattaraugus creek. Drive about 17 miles east on rt. 5 and you'll hit 18 mile. All good water that produces nice fish. Sent from my moto z3 using Tapatalk

I would sell my stash of .22lr in a heartbeat for 1.00 a round....and invest in a real nice air gun. Ammo is pennies....at least last time I looked. Lol. Sent from my moto z3 using Tapatalk

Not being a financial guy and investing moderately......my question is won't he pay a considerable amount on capital gains when he cashes out? Sent from my moto z3 using Tapatalk

I second that....had my 09 trailblazer sprayed and was rust free when I got rid of it in 18.....and now 17 titan is ziebart sprayed as well. Zeibart actually resprays it for you for a couple years...not sure how many but I missed this year cause of covid shutdowns. Sent from my moto z3 using Tapatalk

Sweet looking rig. How many miles on the 18 vs. the old one. Sent from my moto z3 using Tapatalk

Hard to tell.....but it sure is a good guess. If that's a cell cam....you will get a better quality pic once you pull the card...or if it's a spypoint cam you can pay extra to have HD images sent. Sent from my moto z3 using Tapatalk

My at home course arrived today. Looks like a little bit of work....but hopefully I can plug away at it this week. Read a few chapters already.....seems like it's going to be fun. Sent from my moto z3 using Tapatalk
