  4. I have both, 760 and 7600 in 30 06, and both seem to throw a stray shot when sighting. I now use model 700 270. Just my opinion Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk

    Ground Blinds

My son and I built two today in the rain. Used nothing but what the woods provided. My 13 yr old said, "Dad this is cool". Good times Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk

  11. NY needs to follow PAs mentor seasons. You take the child when you feel they are ready. Started my kids at age 9 in PA. It's a shame that a kid must wait until 14 to gun hunt got deer in NY.

    First Buck

Had to come to PA to get my 12 yr old son a gun buck. C'mon NY change your laws so we can do this in NY.

    Wet powder

Had a yote at 60 yds and what a surprise when nothing happened. I think I could have caught the sabot falling from the barrel. Thank goodness it wasn't a big buck. Tape your barrel!!!!

    Blinds??

My son just went down with knee injury and our archery season just got a curve ball. He's unable to climb so we are sitting. Never used a blind - need suggestions for a quality easy up/down 2 man blind. Thanks guys

    Solid 8

great pics - good luck with him
  20. G5 Montec - After tuning bow, they fly like field points out to 45 yds. (Won't take that shot but practice at that distance). I like practicing with them and then put the edge back on with a stone.
  21. Checked camera Saturday. Like the buck - hate yotes.
  22. Thinking of picking up Mossberg o/u 20 ga. Anyone have one of these? Looking for reviews - thanks
  23. I have seen Charles Alsheimer on three occasions and thoroughly enjoyed myself. There's a bit of a religious theme behind his talks but the deer information far out-weighs any religious overtones. The deer knowledge is second to none and I highly recommend this seminar to every deer/bow hunter in NY. I was a novice bow hunter until I saw Charlie for the first time and purchased his book, "Hunting Whitetails by the Moon". This was a great read and greatly explained what I was seeing in the woods every fall but didn't understand why. I now read this same book every September to get the juices flowing and I've killed several archery bucks utilizing the tactics learned. You won't be disappointed!!!!! P.S. - Is deer hunting and religion a bad thing??
