I bought the African hunt at my NWTF banquet... 2 hunters, 2 non hunters, 6 days hunting... 5 animals.. $4,000.00 I'm adding a few other animals to it if I see them... The moose/bear hunt is $6300.00 total... for two of us hunting though...

I am shooting the T/C Pro Hunter....

I currently shoot 110 grains of Blackhorn 209 with a 250 grain T/C blue tipped shock wave for deer.... Should I move up to the 300 grainers?????

Yes... August 18th 2012... Leave for African Safari with her on the 19th... Then... Oct 2013 we go on the moose/bear hunt!!!! Nice having a partner that loves hunting as much as I do!!!!

Well for deer loads... yes... but the 180grainers for Africa I've just started.. hoping I can get them to do this at 100 as well....

The Winchester were all overthe place... The other two held to about 1-2".... Need to do more work with them... Then once I pic one, I'll put my Sims barrel de-resignator back on and dial it in.. I love those things, really tighten groups right up.... takes my 150 grain laod from 1" to this at 100...

Took the T/C Pro Hunter out to start finding the factory 180 grain ammo that groups best with my 30-06 barrel... Currently for deer I use Ferdal Fusion 150 grain ammo... So, I bought Fusion 180 gr, Remington Corelok 180 gr. and Winchester 180 gr. First rounds out of the gun had basically the same point of impact as my 150 grain loads?? Wondering how that is really possible.... they all shot 1-2" high at 100 yards... Makes it nice I don't have to move my scope much once I choose the load BUT... Still odd don't you think, that 30 grain heavy slug flies to almost the same point of impact as my 150 grain load?? By the way... For me.. the choice is down to the Federal and the Remington... Both shot well... Need to bring both out again and move it out to 150 to really seperate the two...

Definitely changed eating habits.... Breakfast is now an egg white omellotte, lunch is a salad with lots of veggies, hard boiled egg and another protien... dinner is one serving... nothing fancy or different, just one plate, no "seconds"...

Got an African Safari Honeymoon in August this year... Want to be in shape for that... And, after losing my dad last year, I want to be in shape for my kids and my future health... So I'm in this for the long haul.... Thanks everyone for the kind words!!!!

All hunting people from Archery Talk and here I'm thinking.... In fact, my illinois hunt I won on Facebook and actually went with a guy I met on there and Archery Talk.. We had a ball hunting together....

Even with lifting 3 days a week, I've lost 17 pounds in 7 weeks... I am definitely pleased!!!!!!! 3 more pounds to my first goal... then 35 more to my second... Then we will see if I can mae it to my "ultimate" goal... But, I am gonig in the right direction with no signs of stopping what I am doing... I am "Driven"... LOL

I'm on there.... Say what you will but it makes it VERY easy to stay in touch with people when time is limited... Having 3 kids, 2 jobs, etc.... I like this over trying to force a phone call... P90X was a great workout but after 3 knee surgeries and shoulder trouble, it was not something for me to start. It really irrated my knees and shoulders...

Oh... and for the record.... She is a fine looking woman... And would gladly do anything to her she asked of me.. ;-)
