I started this past Jan 2nd, eating egg white omelottes for breakfast and a salad for lunch thie hard boiled egg and another protien... then a "usual" dinner... Doing cardio 5-6 times a week and weights 3 times a week... I feel a lot better.. weight is coming off at a decent pace.. was hoping for more sooner but don't we all... Just want to get to "healthy", at 47 I don't need to get ripped... Just want to live a healthier life style...

They are the only known predator to a porqupine... (spelling)... and a terror on everything from Turkeys down in size...

less moving parts, to me makes it a lot less likely to have "issues".....

For my T/C's I only use them.... VERY nice set up.... Check them out... I think there are two differnt companies making them... I'll go try to find the names.. for the life of me they are not comnig to me...

Going for plains game in South Africa for our honeymoon.... 6 day hunt.. be there 8 days... Can not wait to go!!!

I just might.... not sure though.. right now every penny I make is going to AFrica... Not sure I want to drop the $$$$ right now to buy a gun when I already have my Pro Hunter that I was planning on bringing any ways... But we'll see if the mood strikes me.. LOL Depends on uncle Sam too, if I do well return wise that could alter my thinking...

Well, Sunday came and we took the new T/C Dimension out... 308 and 223... She was not able to bring 2 scopes so we had to just settle for shooting for groups, testing the trigger and changing barrels to see how that worked.... First 3 rounds out of the 308 came in under an inch at 100... Trigger was crisp, action was very smooth... The 60 degree bolt throw was fantastic... The change to 223 took me about 4 minutes total time... Not to bad seeing I only tried it once at the house... I let my son shoot most of those rounds, we put 40 rounds through it without a hitch... had a ragged 2" hole with 4 differnt shooters and non stop shooting... I must say, this new rifle met all my expectations... Just would like to see them open up the line of calibers a bit.. but I hear that is in the works...

30-06, 100 yards, 150 grain Federal Fusions... Thanks!!!! Shot the Dimension.... SWEET gun!!!

Mine shoots pretty good I think... And the new barrels are under $300.00, show me a decent rifle you can get for that and have it shoot this good and I'll buy 5 of them.. But, to each their own...

It is basically a Pro Hunter with a bolt and extra rounds.. LOL.... I'll take a 30-06 to Africa... But hoping that they make a 338 barrel for this gun soon... Want to do a Moose or Red Stag hunt soon after I get done with Africa...

I'm down 14 for the month of January.... Lifts have gone up steady during the month.... Feeling better already.... 40 more pounds to go till I'm somewhat happy.... 60 more pounds to go to get to my first BIG goal.... 80 from my ultimate goal... But it is going in the right direction and I'm feeling good...

All my other T/C's are single shots... This is a bolt action rifle built on the concept of the Pro Hunter... I'll NEVER get rid of my Pro Hunter... But this gun will allow me the ability to take a gun for a quick follow up shot if I so desire.. But depending on the game and area, this would be a nice thing to be able to have in my aresnal.. Plus, if it works like I think it will... I'll sell my Savage 22-250 and just buy a 22-250 barrel for this gun... along with other ones obviously...

It will probably be a 223 barrel on it.... But I'm just giving the rifle a test run... I'll order the 30-06 barrel if I like it...

I've continued the weights every other day and cardio 6 days a week... I'm hoping Fridays weigh in shows lbs off... But I know my lifts are going up so I am gaining some muscle as well... Not a bad thing either for a 47 year old...

I am "guessing" 30-06... but will find out more later.... This is a "loaner"... Just to see if I want to bring it to Africa this August over my T/C Pro Hunter,..... But I'm thinking it will rock!!! Can't wait to get my hands on it...

I love my T/C Pro Hunter.... Trying to get my hands on the new Dimension.. Taking one to the range for a "Test Drive" Sunday... But my Pro Hunter will ALWAYS be a go to gun for me... Killed 4 deer with it this year a lone...

The new T/C Dimension rifle out for a test run this Sunday... Got a friend at T/C that is bringing one home I hope so I can try it before I buy one to bring to Africa this August.. I'll keep you all posted with a Range report later.. but I am pumped to get this one out... Hoping it is all I think it will be... Then take it for a test in Africa on plains game...

My entire reasoning for working out is not to get big.. hell... I'm 47... Why would I need to get big... If I get in a fight, I'm drawing the Glock 30 and ending the fight... I'm to old to fight any other way.. LOL... I just don't want to die like my father did last April... I don't want my kids to go through what I did trying to help him and take care of my Dad... My dad was a great man, he just never took his health as a priority though.. And he went far to soon (74 years old) and painfully... Lung cancer, Diabetic, heart issues, etc... I don't want my kids to feel as helpless as I did with my Dad...

Makes the game more fun with this.... Should be a GREAT game... they both got to this one by slim victories and playing hard.... They both are good teams for sure...
