T/C Pro Hunter.... I love mine.. my fiance loves hers.. they shoot great.. Also, try the Blackhorn 209 powder... Shoots very clean...

If memory serves me, end of light was 4:54 and I shot her at 4:53 when I looked at my watch... I know it was 1 minute before end of legal shooting light that day...

Well then it would be respond in kind... fire at will!!!

I won't be on here after today, so I wanted to tell you all Merry Christmas!!!!

For me.. you can be against what I'm saying... show your side of the discussion but when someone generalizes, i.e. gun hunters are slobs, bow hunters wound, etc... That's not a fact.. it's an opinion.. Yes everyone can have one.. but on a forum that can be viewed by anyone.. these comments are just more ammo for the anti's... AND, it serves no positive purpose between us... my opinion.. LOL

I think the idea of not going to one idea or another based on someone else doing something illegal is wrong.. If you see or know of illegal activity, we need to report these people... period.. "The only thing necessary for the triumph [of evil] is for good men to do nothing"

The farm I hunt has the same thinking... But crop damage tags are for does only I believe.. So AR's would still work with the farmer...

the thing to remember is, the people here aren't the ones making the changes.. so being rude here does nothing but make us fight amongst ourselves... Trust me.. I am a strong believer in a lot of things.. When I see a post I don't agree with, I try to either avoid posting or just give my side... Attacking someone does nothing positive for anyone.. If you want to make changes, sadly the political route is in order.. Not personal attacks here... my thinking only...

I always try to shoot mature does... I go by length of nose and size, I'm not savy enough to know teeth aging... But I've shot at least 1 120 - 130 pound doe every year plus a few 100 - 120 pounders... But in reality, a doe is a doe is a doe.. I do it to help the farmer with deer #'s and to fill my freezer...

WNY, I agree... opinions are great!!! Everyone has one, they should voice it without fear... And yes... your version of attack is exactly my point...

Hence my original question... who would rather see a 1 buck rule over AR's... For the guys that want to go out and shoot a buck... they still can.. guys that want to shoot a mature deer can hold out...

So do you bow hunt with a compound or a stick bow???? Just wondering.... Compounds more than doubled the distance one can shoot accurately... In some cases tripled... I know with my old side hammer, I could shoot to 100 yards with 120 grains of FF Black powder... With my Prohunter, I would not shoot 200 with it... never mind 300...

But seeing we've altered their habitat, their popualtion has grown tremendously... So, we need to manage the herd. So yes, it may not be natural to manage them, but it is a responsibilty to do so...

As long as I am hunting, I don't care what I am hunting with.. I hunt the same way... Same ethics... same standards... doesn't matter if Im wearing camo or orange... I love to hunt and respect other hunters.. now if you break the law, have no respect for the game animal or low ethics for other hunters that's a different story...

The guys that oppose the 1 buck rule.... outside the realm of, "don't tell me what to do"... what is the reasoning behind wanting to shoot another buck over a doe?? Or, is the deer herd in your area that low that you don't see enough deer so limiting your choice would dramatically decrease your chances of filling the freezer..

Why do some blast other legal methods for taking game?? If you want to hunt with a recurve, make your own arrows, great... I shoot a compound... We should both support the other and not bash one another... If I hunt with an in line and you want to take out a flint lock... Awesome!!! But to tell me I shouldn't be able to hunt during muzzle loader... Why... I pour powder down the barrel just like you.. I get one shot just like you... What's with the bashing between the groups... I hunt deer with a gun.. you only bow hunt them... OK... but why bash the gun hunter or call the bow hunter a wounder?? Seriously.. if it is a legal method to hunt with, the hunter is ethical, respectful to other hunters and land owners... Who cares what they use??? Most of the time on here it is good posts, helpful, etc.. but sometimes I see an almost elitist approach to hunting either a specific weapon or method that really would turn away any new hunter from talking on here or maybe even hunting... I just don't understand it,.. We are hunting brothers/sisters, no one but us understands that feeling we all get when the quarry gets close... Why bash each other??? Or... as once was said... "Why can't we all just get along?"... LOL

Like saying compound shooters aren't as good as bare bow guys... geez... leave the nit picking stuff out and lets stop fighting within the ranks... Why throw stones??? And remember, one of the first designs was an inline if my history is correct...
