  1. Them Drury boys sure know how to add value to their products.....Seriously, I think I have to put in a call to Mark and Terry Drury to get the answer to that
  2. I was filming my friend Gasper on a deer hunt earlier this month in NY and had the pleasure of getting this crazy deer hunting moment on camera.... http://www.huntography.com/2010/12/19/deer-hunting-video-drury-outdoors-mad-bleat-call-draws-monster-horse/ I might of fell out of the tree laughing if he came into the woods under my tree.....
  3. This will be the last deer hunting of season for me and I'll be filming some folks who have private land in the Orange County area. Haven't hunted in NY this season but really happy to be going back to my home state. Hope to get some great deer hunting memories on camera and if we get a deer, that will be icing on the cake.....May hit some old favorite state land spots in Wurstboro or Roscoe area too.... If they tag out on Saturday, I may drive up to Ulster county to see some old friends on Sunday. Man, I miss upstate NY......[Yeah I know, this is still downstate to some of you who are are really in the northern and western parts of the state - but to city folks, it's upstate ]
  4. Really awesome buck! Love the higher resolution photos too....Congrats!
  5. Well done! Good looking buck.
  6. Well done and happy eating!
  7. Awesome! It's never too late to start deer hunting..... I love me some venison goulash
  8. Love it. A picture perfect father/daughter hunt. I can't wait to take my 3 kids hunting in a couple years.
  9. I grew up hunting from the ground. Still hunting and strategically concealed natural ground blinds were my method of choice. The 1st deer I ever shot was a spike at 15 yards w/ my Remington model 4 30-06 all while setting up under a thick pine overlooking a travel corridor I found. He dropped right then and there. I had jeans on with military fatigues over them. No fancy gear. But no one back then relied on any of that. We did have treestands, but they were homemade and built out of wood. Most guys however chose to hunt from the ground - no fancy ground blinds either. Just sitting under a tree really made it a more perssonal experience. I use my lone wolf when bowhunting mostly, but still love to get on the ground w/ slug gun or rifle. Old habits die hard.
  10. Congrats Eddie! That's some good eating. Looking forward to the pics.
  11. Good luck all...wish I was there for Opening Day.
  12. I used to hunt there years ago. Did they ever re-open that road that was washed away by those bad storms over 5 years ago. Can't remember the road but it was off route 17 and there was a trailer camp site on that road.... Had some great spots on that State Land.....used to stay at the Riverside Lodge....Man did they ever have some great pork tenderloins.....
  13. Good luck to everyone on opening day! I wish I was there. Living in Colorado now..... Have you all selected a #hashtag or keyword to use if you post live on Twitter or Facebook?
