Back out today in 3h trying something different today, I have all daytime pics of mostly bucks at least 4 different at one of my deeper stands there are two main trails leading to the area 50 yards apart and the wind is right for both of them.....I am sitting one and my buddy is sitting the other. Maybe it will work maybe it won't... It's kind of funny too see his head bob every once in a while

Heading out in 10..... Hope I don't regret this with the way the wind is blowing.

I don't think dec will be ok with me using my hand at night, or in pubic for that matter

Saw two fawns together on Tuesday night in 3h they were at my apple trees in the back yard. Mamma was no where in sight

No we are not being selfish, I do not hunt public land much any more but I used to exclusively and let's be honest if gun hunters and bow hunters were in the same woods at the same time the bow hunters would not have a prayer of getting a deer after the first few days. It is very hard to go after alert deer with a bow! Although a compound bow may not be a primitive tool it is still infinitely more difficult to use than a scoped rifle. I believe that they should remain in separate seasons because not because bow hunters are "special" but because the use of firearms during the same season would make a already much more difficult task that much more difficult...... As to the placements of the seasons again I thing bow hunters get the warmest weather and more rutting activity to some what make up for how difficult the sport actually is.... Excluding hunting big bucks any semi competent person can set up 150 yards across a food plot or crop field and shoot a deer! Two completely different and great sports just don't belong being played on the same field at the same time

. It wound up being a lot more than 3 actually probably an illegal magazine ( not that I have a problem with them cause I don't). But after the first 3 it turned into to bursts of 30 or so

Just got back out for the afternoon hunt found a run with a scrape 200 yards out. From my stand ran a scent drag right through it

Gunna call it for the morning still a little warm here, going to have lunch with the misses and try to get back out around 1:30

. Perfect conditions to stalk/still hunt... I would walk very slow with the wind in my face

Put in my first chew of the morning, may have been a mistake the combo of that and the height and angle of this seat I really gotta crap

Just watched a doe trot by at around 100 yards she was moving pretty quick didn't see anything behind her

It's always nice when you hear yotes yapping in the direction you would expect deer to be coming from

Very warm already and a slight breeze. Looking forward to a long day in the stand
