    40 and calm here... Not gunna be a long sit today.. Smoked my first cig in the stand of the whole season.... I have a good wind today haven't seen bucks since bow so I figured what the heck

    I will say this it is not deer numbers I hunted bow and saw deer almost every time I went out.... Bucks does fawns what ever.... I have trail cams out have many pics on all the cams.... Gun season has been dead have not seen much at all.... I know the deer are still here but something is keeping them from moving too much after sunrise

    . I will be buying a m1 at some point over the next few months I plan on building a perminent stand with a nice rest just so I can take her hunting next year

    Fricken locals just walked within 100 feet of my stand in a group of 3..... 2 wearing head to toe camo 1 wearing no camo at all... They were making a shit load of noise.... I was tempted to let one fly in the opposite direction and then yell at them to get the fuck out.... I decided not to ruin my own hunt even if they kinda did p

    I have to say as a bow hunter the Doe only part of the season bothers me but only for one reason... You force me to either use a dmp or my bow tag.. I believe if you are making a seperate season for doe only give me a special tag for it... If you want to force me to take a doe don't have it effect my other tags give me a extra tag and I will take the extra animal.... Another suggestion would say I have to take a doe before a buck instead of making dates.... This would be more likely to get hunters out there to take a doe

    I'm telling you if it was slimey and looks like that I wouldn't be eating it especially if you partially hit the guts.... The length and temps that you hung that deer at are not safe.... You may be fine but I wouldn't risk it...... This is coming from someone who is certified to teach a national food handlers course

    . Yea but if you hunt between the low spot phade talked about and where they are coming in and out of the steam bed you should be ok

    How deep is the Ravine with the river..... If it is more of a river bottom he may be using that as a travel corridor as well

    . Lol I hunted there for years never had someone transport my deer... Guess I'm just not lazy... I don't hunt there any more because the hunting is not very good and I now have access to private land

    . I'd rather it be the bad mayo because if it's not it means I have trespassers again . I wonder if they are coming to see i put a new cam out since they stole the last one....... If I see them by that tree I will be flying out of my stand
