. The hand climber might be good but the sit and climb that my friend has sucks, the bar is at such a angle that you can barely clime
-
. It was fun, i wasn't too happy at the time but I'm over it. In all reality I have a property with 6 fixed stands and chose to use my climber in a place where I thought I would see action so I guess that means I actually had a pretty successful day

So, I started my afternoon sit around 12:30 today. It started off slow there was a flock of turkeys 60 yards behind me around 2 o'clock. Then nothing else till 3:45 when I looked up and saw him a nice wide 6 pt about 35 yards directly infront of me. No shot due to the many branches and shrubs. But he followed the script and walked down the ridge till he gave me a perfect broadside shot 25 yards to my right. I drew back and let one fly. It hit the smallest twig about 10 yards in front of him and took a nose dive going right under his belly. He didn't spook. Just walked off in the direction he was headed. Fast forward to 5:15 im texting my friend who is headed up to camp tomorrow when I look to my left down wind and see a doe at 25 yards. It's obvious she has caught my scent but and is nervous and keeps on coming. I draw as her head passes the tree at 20. When she gets to 15 I decide I'm going to take the shot. There is a small branch about mid way up her body 3 yards in front of her but I still have a clear shot at the heart. I release and again thwack the arrow hits the branch and deflects over her back. I should have let her take another step and she would have been clear of it.... Great day with lots of action. I just couldn't get it done.... I will be back in the same stand tomorrow for both sits

I just missed a nice 6 first noticed him 30 yards infront of me. He made a loop and gave me a perfect 20 yard broadside shot, I just didn't see the thin hanging twig I hit it and missed 5 inches or so under his belly. When I get down at 6 I will check arrow for blood but I doubt it..... I'm so mad right now -
. I've been in this stand for 3 hours already I have a lot of free time right now
-
. If you are in jail and drop that rope it can be pretty harmful
-
. Read the thread two to two... And if you tried the lone wolf you would never go back... Seat is a little smaller but I'm a fat ass and I'm still comfortable
-
Haven't heard from anyone in a bit, starting to see a lot of rubs how about you guys

So I own a lone wolf sit and climb and wanted to hunt the area where my buddy leaves his summit. We have a bunch of stands on the property and leave the climbers attached to trees to add to our set up choices. So any way he said just use my stand... Well let me tell you that summit is a piece of crap. Much harder to climb with a lot heavier and less stable while climbing. I actually walked almost half a mile round trip to go get my lone wolf and I am happy that I did

Back in my apples, gunna be a short sit this morning nothing on cam here after 8 am. But when they do come in here the shot is a layup -
You said you found grass on the arrow and now blood are you sure you hit it and the arrow didn't just skim across the ground
-
So I was thinking of doing my first estrus drag of the season tomorrow morning, I bought a bottle of PALawmans and want to try it out. Do you guys think it's still a little to early or should I give it a shot ?
-
I will preface this by saying I do not smoke pot but legalizing marijuana will make the government money
-
. Thanks for the offer, but my friends can't get off work. I wish I could have taken you up on this
-
. Let me talk to my buddy in the morning and I will give you a definite answer
-
If someone asked permission to track I would more than likely say yes, if it was a face I did not recognize I would probably ask some questions like we're they were hunting are they the land owner and so on, I would also probably help them track and drag off. If someone is decent enough to come ask there is no real reason to say no....... Unless you have feeders bait piles or something else that you are trying to hide.

I might be interested, I have heard about the park but have never been

It's been bad and it keeps shifting directions mid sit on me
