  1. Seems to apply to every reply posted. I'm done.
  2. Wow, this newbie is touchy. Gonna have to get thicker skin if he's gonna stay on this forum.
  3. Grampy, you can get really great binoculars that have all the benefits of really expensive ones, without paying $1000 for them. It takes research and some time, but if you look into it you can get really great glass for about $850. Check out the binoc article on page 34 in this link to a F&S article. https://books.google.com/books?id=HkzeZVg62uQC&pg=PA34&lpg=PA34&dq=bausch+%26+Lomb+8x50+elite+porro+prism+binocs&source=bl&ots=V1bVmQD56g&sig=MnfnE43DGUryhglwzcxLmcf5Cfo&hl=en&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwiuxIuCjuvRAhVT42MKHQ7RAlUQ6AEIRDAH#v=onepage&q=bausch %26 Lomb 8x50 elite porro prism binocs&f=false
  4. Watch this video and learn about Islam and how it works today. This from a Muslim female Prof at Harvard University
  5. The biggest benefit to great binocs, besides the really good picture and definition, is the lack of eye strain, which will give you a massive headache when you are using inexpensive ones for hours on end looking for game. Good binocs will not strain your eyes. The barrels line up like they should and they don't make your eyes work hard when using them. It's a lot like good glasses. If they aren't right for you, you will feel it.
  6. I must be the only hunter left who doesn't own a trail camera.
  7. I don't consider them guys. I don't even consider them human. BTW, notice how Ginsberg isn't smiling. She's so heavily medicated, she doesn't even know she's alive.
  8. The Democrat disciples fall for their acts every time though. They really believe these cold hearted bastards have genuine feelings. They really only have 3 concerns. Getting elected, getting re-elected and taking the winning side on any issue that would prevent them from getting re-elected. These fakers would exterminate every Muslim in this country, if it was necessary for them to get re-elected. But they're required to show sorrow for them to get re-elected, so they're competing with each other regarding who can do it best.
  9. Well, I took a hike up the mountain today to see if the bear was in the den. I took my digital camera with the flash this time too. As I got close, I could see there was more dirt in front of the opening, so the bear had done some more digging since I last saw it there, but it had old snow on it for some time now. There was old snow all around on the ground. It was hard frozen now, and no sign of any bear activity on it. I thought maybe the bear was in the den hibernating. I went to the opening, trying not to make a lot of crunchy noise in the snow as I did. It was quite noisy. I peered into the dark hole and didn't see the bear. I looked closer and could see the whole den inside and it was empty. I do not think the bear is using it anymore. Maybe someone killed it before the season ended? Maybe it decided to move once it knew I found it? What do you guys think?
  10. I love SxS shotguns and own a few. My favorite is a JP Sauer 16 gauge. It's beautiful, light and nimble. It has tight chokes though, so it's mainly a pheasant gun. I also have the same CZ 28 gauge pictured above. I love the fact it's receiver is sized for the 28 gauge. It feels tiny in my hands. It's my grouse gun. I have a Brazilian Boito 12 gauge O/U that fits me perfectly and makes me appear to be a deadly marksman. I rarely miss with it and it has open and modified barrels, so it makes a great small game gun. It also has double triggers, which I think more O/U guns should offer. I have owned plenty of other double guns, but found most didn't get used and you can only hunt so often. The few I have now where selected as keepers from many I've owned. I use them a lot, and they shoot well for me, so I'm happy with them.
  11. Back to rapid fire for a second, there is nothing like shooting a FULL auto firearm. Anyone who tries it for the first time will find it impossible not to grin like a fool when they have done it. That is probably the feeling the rapid fire people are trying to accomplish. But once you have fired a full auto firearm, semi-auto quick fire isn't impressive any more. Today, I would only shoot full auto if somebody else is paying for the ammo.
  12. The Left is grasping at anything they can in order to keep their minions at full hatred mode. They can't allow Trump to sway the minds of any of their minions that haven't been fully brain washed yet. I predict many of the Leftists, who hated Trump during his election run, will be voting for him if he runs for re-election in 2020. I wouldn't doubt he doesn't run if he accomplishes all of his goals in 4 years. He'll just turn the position over to Pence and go back to business.
  13. No, I would say he's pretty much main stream on a lot of issues, but absolutely right wing conservative on the issues a lot of Americans are concerned about. You know, the issues that will keep the country from being destroyed by Leftists. An opinion on a single issue does not define a man's political character.
  14. Like I said, divorce is a Liberal value. Marriage is an American value. Gay marriage is also a Liberal value that the American main stream has adopted. The reason liberal values are always controversial, is because they are very permissive and at odds with American values. They haven't been around long enough to have a track record of success and often show signs of failure within a couple of decades. That's why they are not American values.
  15. Those are not American values. Those are Liberal values that have been accepted by main stream America. I'd challenge you to find anyone in this country that supports either one of those things as a "value" in America. Do you know what values are?
  16. They way I see it, they DID love it. The British didn't. So they made THEM leave it.
  17. I'm sure he doesn't need help, but I thought you needed an answer. That was my answer to your question based on my own personal struggle with the US public education system. Plus, there is no way anyone has any right to tell anyone else what to do with their own children. Unless of course, you are the government.
  18. I love it. But I can't afford to indulge all of my loves.
  19. First off, they are not his children. Second, it takes lots of money to avoid social marxism in America, and the Left has made sure that it will continue to be that way by protesting charter schools, vouchers and funding of private schools. The average middle class family cannot afford to avoid the social marxists unless they home school. BTW, the Left attacks that as vigorously as the other options. Why do you suppose that is?
  20. This article claims these people have "died" since a certain date. It doesn't say they were killed by the US military. They may have been killed by ISIS, other countries, or just plain died. The point is, Obama's rules of engagement have lessened our military's ability to eliminate ISIS. The rules just changed.
  21. Did you even read the article you posted? It's trying to tell you the body count numbers released by Obama are most likely BS. If the Obama administration’s latest estimates are accurate, that would mean there was a zero percent increase in the number of Islamic State fighters killed during the first four months of the year, followed by a remarkable 80 percent increase during the past four months. This seems highly unlikely, given that there has been little change in the number of bombs dropped over the past eight months.
  22. Ah, but that's the point of this thread. The Left's stranglehold on education is doing it's darnedest to kill that. Today there are actual penalties for independent thought at many schools. To survive the brainwashing, a young person must have been told the truth by their parents prior to hearing the propaganda. That's why the Left would like nothing better than to eliminate parental rights from the beginning in this country.
  23. There's an old saying, "A leopard doesn't change it's spots". Aging hippies may have gotten jobs, bought homes and raised families, but they're attitudes and values never changed. Just look at the belief system they have taught their offspring and you will have proof. Besides many had careers in government, education or trendy tofu cafe's, so they never really entered the "real world" at any point in their lives. They vote liberal with warm and fuzzy conviction, right up to the day they die. Believe me, I know many of them, and no amount of "real world" experience ever effects them. I think the drug usage really altered their minds beyond repair.
