Doc, you need to realize these anti-American people support the elected officials who have their same views. They are merely pawns in the big scheme of things. Once this is understood, it's easy to see the mask the political left is wearing. If you could see the real face of the political left, it's so ugly and scary, it would turn you to stone. Fortunately, enough Americans were able to see the way things were going and throw Hillary on the trash heap of history. We really dodged a deadly bullet in this election.

During the era of McCarthyism, the claim that Communists were infiltrating our society with the goal of destroying it, was vilified and attacked. Today we can see that Joe McCarthy was correct, as it was infiltrating Hollywood and the public education system, right up to our universities, with subversion of our traditional values as the goal. He knew it was happening, but didn't have the evidence to prove it. Today, we have the evidence, but it's objective has already been achieved and the proof elicits no anger from the masses. A couple of generations in America have been indoctrinated under this subversion. And the mass media has become a willing accomplice to it. It has been a well played, masterfully orchestrated act, of patient treason, the damage from which we may never recover.

I have a 1960's era Marlin 336 in .35 Rem that sports an old Leupold fixed power in 2X. It is perfect for that rifle. Doesn't upset the balance too much and works very well out to 100 yards.

I shoot a Mossberg 835 in 3.5" 12 gauge with the camo synthetic stock and vented barrel. It's 30 years old. Got it when they first brought them out. I've killed geese so high in the sky, my hunting partners couldn't believe it. It has never needed even the slightest repair. You don't need a 10 gauge. My friends have never been able shoot any farther with their pump action 10 gauges and wish they had gotten a 3.5" 12 gauge instead. I've filled the butt stock on the 835 with pennies to add weight between the chamber and my shoulder and it really cuts the recoil down to standard shot shell levels. I didn't use lead shot in the butt stock because it didn't need that much weight to work well. It even has the original factory recoil pad on it, which isn't high tech like some new ones are. It's also back bored in the barrel. That help reduce recoil as well. The ammo is easier to find and costs less. Plus, it can shoot anything, even low power trap loads, without changing anything in the action. Add a slug barrel to it and the combo is a versatile hunting shotgun that can really do it all. This is one gun I will always need and will never sell.

They all remind me of Obama's Nobel Peace Prize. It's all making a mockery of these awards. Future recipients might decide to decline these awards when they're considered a farce. The disrespect occurring here is towards past recipients that actually deserved these honors. It would be like giving the Congressional Medal of Honor to anti-war protesters.

The propaganda the left is going to use to attack Trump will not change his supporters minds, it will more likely embolden them. The haters will hate Trump no matter what he does. He could achieve world peace in his first year and the leftist haters would still attack him. Two things the left doesn't expect may happen though. Their attacks may backfire and cause right thinking people to finally understand how evil and crazy they all are, consequently eliminating any concern about their credibility, and two, it may help Trump in the eyes of the free world because he will not submit to dishonest attacks designed to bring down the US, thereby proving he's truly looking to make America great again, which helps the whole free world. Obama was viewed as an idiot, puzzy, wimp and fool that was a danger to all democracies and free societies the world over. That's why all of his so called "foreign policies" failed miserably.

I'm in the same situation as the OP and I'm leaning towards a Brittany.

Any elected official can be a "former" lawyer, but they are currently a duly elected representative of the people. They take an oath to serve the electorate, not themselves. If they choose themselves over the people, the should be impeached and prosecuted. I know it's hard for supporters of Leftist Democrats to understand this. Maybe since we now have a POTUS who is not a lawyer, we will start to see the will of the people imposed, like it should've been all along.

Well, since you brought it up, your OP is incorrect on the issue. The issue being contemplated by the legislature is suppressor use, not silencers. Though the term is confusing, it takes more than a contraption attached to a firearm's muzzle to eliminate all muzzle report. The ammo used is just as important as the muzzle attachment. What most pro gun legislators are in favor of is, allowing the use of sound suppressing units to lower the muzzle blast of firearms. Anyone against that might just as well advocate banning ear plugs.

He left out the word "mindless" when he referred to opinions. Fortunately, many of those with mindless opinions, stayed home on election day (because Hillary is white).

You will find plenty of positive words that were spoken about Trump before he ran against Hillary. He was never called a racist prior to that either. Those invited to the Golden Globes are so far removed from the reality of every day America, they have no credibility of opinion at all. And for those who don't know, a suppressor is not a silencer. It lowers the sound of the muzzle blast. It does not eliminate it. I have never seen a rifle silencer that will completely silence the report of a full velocity, center fire rifle round. Subsonic center fire rounds, yes. But full velocity, standard caliber deer hunting rounds, no. Suppressors have many advantages for shooters. The only thing going against them is ignorant fear from people who don't understand them, much like the fear they have of semi-auto black rifles.
