I own 5 Kimber rifles. Three Montana's, a Talkeetna and a .22 Hunter with the wood stock. All are great shooters. Never had any issue with any of them. IMO Kimber makes the best hunting rifle for the money. Are you looking for a hunting rifle or a specialty rifle? Because the two you mentioned are really special purpose rifles that may not be the best choice for hunting.

Perfectly normal. That deer recently dropped it's antlers.

Go Fund Me Account For the Wall
Rattler replied to Steve D's topic in Gun and Hunting Laws and Politics Discussions
When average citizens are willing to donate their own hard earned money to stop an invasion in the US, but the leftist Democrats are not, that tells the average American citizens exactly where leftist stand on the invasion issue. They say it isn't happening, but the majority of Americans know it is happening. They don't believe a wall will help, but they offer no solution of their own at all. It's pretty obvious they want open borders and want as many illegals allowed in as they can get. Anyone who supports leftist Democrats on this issue has to be completely clueless or an enemy of the US. -
Louisiana Duck Hunting & Redfish Video - Double Dipping
Rattler replied to Delta Duckman's topic in General Hunting
Good video. Used to shoot a lot of Bluebill in my youth when I lived on the coast. Later moved on to puddle ducks. Then onto Canada Geese in the cornfields. Haven't been out for waterfowl in many years and I do miss it. Maybe someday again. I still have all the dekes, but now I need a boat again. -

This is what you demanded. That's what I gave you. Your Welcome! Not sure what you were trying to say in the first paragraph of your last post. As far as a bill in NY, when it comes up, I'll be sure to post a link for everyone to see. I'm sure it will be along any day now.

Let's See How Far This Gets

That 5-4 you mention is not a certainty, as Roberts proved when he voted for sustaining Obamacare. It needs to be an absolute certainty before we run it up the flag pole and find some of the 5 shoot at it. -
Society is supposed to have standards in place, that are relevant requirements pertinent to the job. These standards are determined by society as a whole, not the men in that society. Standards are just that, and they should not be bent for gender or anything else. This is the major flaw in the Affirmative Action agenda. If you lower standards for the benefit of preferential treatment towards desired candidates, who do not meet the relevant standards deemed necessary for the position, you force mediocrity into the positions, which will have fatal consequences in dangerous professions.

Listen sonny, it's not about fearing women. It's about equality. When women abuse their positions of power against men, they are no better then whites who suppressed blacks. Abuse of power is abuse, no matter how it happens. That is the threat. Maybe you will gleefully accept your newly imposed feminine status, but most men won't. If women cannot handle the equal status they have attained without retribution, they should be held accountable for their discrimination and prejudice, just like anyone else. The OP is pointing out how masculinity is under attack. It is. And that is wrong. You live in a new time by choice.

There are quite a few videos out there of female cops getting smashed by men they tried to arrest. Very few of them are physically capable of fending off many male perps. They require a lot more backup to do their jobs. If they are petite, they have no business being in a dangerous law enforcement, or even firefighter position. Petite LEO's often entice a perp into resisting. They are more likely to need to resort to their gun in these situations. They are not qualified to do the job, no matter what any feminist believes.

So, you find oppression of males, simply because they are male, by females to be funny? How is this any different than whites oppressing blacks in the south a century ago? If you don't think masculinity has enhanced the quality of life in the US over the years, perhaps you should advocate all US females register for Selective Service and be drafted to fight the next war we find threatens our very survival. It's pretty obvious the "girly" men they want all men to be, will not be able to shoulder that responsibility. BTW, many masculine men refuse to ever get married these days, and the poor women are crying their eyes out because men won't be foolish enough to do it. Great Job Feminists!!

Now, for everyone who doesn't think the government is your friend, ask yourself this: Why do they want to record all ammo transaction info? What would they possibly do with it? How would they stop any crimes with this info? How easy would it be for them to cross reference this data with the data they have on file for a NJ residents firearms? What are they going to do when they see a NJ resident bought .357 ammo and doesn't have a .357 registered in the NJ data base? Will they believe him when he says he bought it to shoot in a friends rifle in NY, or will they get a warrant to search his home for an unregistered handgun? Will they assume he sold it to a gang member? How much labor does a NJ FFL have to do to comply with this legislation? How much does that cost an FFL each year? How much more does he have to charge for ammo to cover his costs? How easy will this make it for the state to find a NJ FFL in violation of a minor paperwork error and remove his FFL license? How much money is this enormous paperwork data base costing NJ taxpayers? How big of a black market does this create among criminals who want to buy their ammo without going through this stupidity? Anyone who thinks that state doesn't have nefarious intentions regarding the use of this data is a fool. Anyone who thinks this won't be coming to NY state is also a fool.

Heck, one request on Google provided the info. You couldn't look it up yourself? https://lawcenter.giffords.org/ammunition-regulation-in-new-jersey/ Ammunition Regulation in New Jersey Last updated October 9, 2018. Persons Prohibited from Purchasing/Possessing Ammunition In order to sell, transfer, purchase or otherwise acquire any handgun ammunition in New Jersey, the transferee must be a licensed gun dealer, wholesaler or manufacturer, or possess a Firearms Purchaser Identification Card, a permit to purchase a handgun, or a permit to carry a handgun.1 Handgun ammunition may be transferred for lawful use in certain narrow circumstances.2 In addition, the sale of a “de minimis” amount of handgun ammunition for immediate use at a firearm range is permitted if the range is operated by a: 1) licensed firearms dealer; 2) law enforcement agency; 3) legally recognized military organization; or 4) rifle or pistol club which has filed a copy of its charter with the Superintendent of the New Jersey State Police.3 Ammunition Seller Record-keeping Retail sellers of firearm ammunition are required to maintain a permanent record of ammunition acquisition and disposition.4 Acquisition records must be kept at the business location and record the name of the manufacturer, the type, caliber or gauge, quantity of the ammunition acquired, the date of each acquisition and person from whom the ammunition was acquired. Disposition records must be in bound form and contain the date of the transaction, name of manufacturer, caliber or gauge, quantity of ammunition sold, name, address and date of birth of purchaser, and identification used to establish the identity of the purchaser. Sellers must record sales or other dispositions of handgun ammunition and ammunition that may be interchangeable between rifles and handguns, as well as hollow-nosed or dum-dum ammunition.5 Minimum Age to Purchase/Possess New Jersey prohibits any person from selling, giving, transferring, assigning or otherwise disposing of handgun ammunition to a person under age 21.6 Regulation of Unreasonably Dangerous Ammunition New Jersey generally prohibits any person from knowingly possessing, manufacturing, transporting, shipping, selling, or disposing armor piercing ammunition.7 New Jersey also prohibits the knowing possession of any hollow nose or dum-dum bullet.8 Hollow nose and dum-dum are terms associated with bullets designed to expand on impact. These terms are not specifically defined under New Jersey law.

Rob, I really don't care what you want. I want a big breasted woman who owns a liquor store, but I don't think I'm going to get it. The fact they ask for proof of age and your I.D. is not as important as their recording that info. They don't write anything down in a register when you buy booze or cigarettes. I'm only concerned about ammo sales. (I don't know anything about porn sales. I'll have to take your word for that) I never said NJ won't sell ammo to a NY resident. I said it won't sell you "pistol" ammo if you don't have a NY pistol permit. I also said NJ won't sell "pistol" ammo to anyone under 21 years old, even NJ residents. I posted this because I experienced it in person at the gun shop in NJ. If you think I didn't, I don't care. If you want to see FACTUAL details, you can do your own link search. I have no desire to expend any time or energy on anything demanded of me by an antagonist. I'm currently feeling benevolent though, so I'll make it easy for you Rob, the shop is called Stokes Forest Sports Shop. You can find them on a Google search. Their phone # is (973) 948-5448. Call them yourself and get the info from them first hand.

No, they tend to fly, rather than walk on the ground. P.S. Don't follow any train tracks either.

Did they write any of your information down during the sale?

The last time I was in NJ, I stopped at a small mom & pop gun store in the mountains of NW NJ. This is a really rural area of the state. I asked for a box of .22 LR for a rifle. I was asked to show my NJ Firearms I.D. card. I said I'm from NY State. I was then informed I would have to show my NY Pistol permit to buy the .22 LR ammo. I said it was for a .22 rifle and was told it didn't matter, as .22 LR is a pistol round too. When the owner told me it was the law and apologized for the trouble, I responded by saying I'm sorry NJ is a police state and left without the ammo. Further research revealed an 18 year old can buy a .22 rifle legally, but cannot buy any ammo to shoot it until 21 years of age, the legal age in NJ to own a handgun, as .22 LR is a pistol round. BTW, they are recording and reporting all ammo sales in that state now as well. They may not have all the firearms registered yet, but they definitely have all of the owners of firearms under surveillance already. It won't be long before they start to question every ammo purchase made if they don't have a record of you owning a firearm that the ammo would be used in. They are trying to implement every way of controlling your 2nd Amendment rights as possible, and they are succeeding.

Let's See How Far This Gets
Rattler replied to Steve D's topic in Gun and Hunting Laws and Politics Discussions
Any law written, can be restricted by another law. The legislature is not the place to resolve this issue. It is either a right, like free speech, or it isn't. Until that question is addressed by the Supreme Court of the United States, this issue will not be resolved. This is why it was so important to elect President Trump. Only he was willing to put strict constitutionalist judges on the court who would rule on this issue based on what the Constitution says. This is an issue those who favor social engineering do not want brought before the Supreme Court under the current administration. When RBG is finally gone from the court, one more Trump appointed judge is all that is needed to correct all of the unconstitutional anti-2nd Amendment legislation that exists in America today. Defenders of the US Constitution are well aware how close the US came to destruction in the last presidential election. Had Hillary won, the Constitution would have become a tool to bludgeon the opposition into submission, with all rights converted to privilege at the whim of the government. -
Pretty good info on specific track identification http://www.dec.ny.gov/docs/administration_pdf/tracks1.pdf?fbclid=IwAR2XEFJERgSr8xRjBlOHGOuKSLtAb7t1aqOwWIoTDo70JJIEOalFr-eRCPQ

All masculine traits must be deemed inconsistent with civilized society. That makes it much easier to control the male population, most likely to revolt when freedoms and liberties are attacked. The government's attack on masculinity falls right in line with it's attacks on the 2nd Amendment and a man's right to self defense. Self defense is now considered "toxic".

It's also proving registration leads to confiscation.
