Roundup applied a couple weeks ago and everything is tilled up nice and seed was put down . The only thing I never realized when starting this plot was I just ruined my entry and exit into woods.

Zooming in I only see the shoulders and head. I’d say a vehicle destroyed that deer and not a coyote

Check out the spot today and birds are tearing the millet tops off. Obviously I planted to early didn’t think the seed would mature that fast but any suggestions ( Real Suggestions) on what to do about this.. looked online and some had tin plates on stake and string . Anyone know of anything I can spray on it ? Im reaching here -

For what it’s worth I just sold a Ithaca side by side at a collectors sale. Gun was old and just taking up valuable space in my safe so I sold it. -

I’ve bought 3 before I found a size that fit me. The tag wore off so I’m not going through that again -

Spent the day on Saturday cutting down cattails and brush hogging . The grounds are ready and are as picturesque as Augusta.

I don’t know what he does or how he mixes it. I will ask more questions when I see him next week. For what it’s worth guys on other sites told me the bag mossy oak waterfowl blend was junk. So I got a bag of that and a couple bags of other grasses from a feed store and the Mossy Oak bag stuff is doing well but to early to really compare it to the feed store seed.

I gotta be honest I’m not exactly sure. The buddy that is disking it for me said he knows a local guy that makes his own seed mixture. He has used it for years and does well. I think it’s a combination of brassica and clover maybe turnips. I’m a novice to all this so just winging it and learn as I go
