A few years ago , I came home from turkey hunting empty handed to see this in my back yard.

Statistically , I've been given up too early. Most of my success has been at fly down. Gonna have to try harder this year due to low turkey populations in my area.

I've made a few wing bone calls in the past. I also like to keep a bag of feathers for eye appeal when I'm making sets. -

When I was a kid , my dad would make his infamous sardine sandwich on pumpernickel bread with onions and limburger cheese. The stench in the kitchen back then would have gagged a maggot. Personally , I have never tried sardines ( I think I was traumatized ) , but have used them on my trap line.

I've found sheds around stone walls where their jarred loose from jumping over. I'd imagine any fences , small streams with steep banks would have the same effect.

I used to crush some of my matchboxes in the vice on my fathers workbench. It made them look like they were in a horrible accident. Somebody came up with that idea and patent it.
