  1. I use these there not ratchet buckles. You pull them tight then close the buckle and put a pin(key) in never has any problems. I use them on the cheapie stands I get off Craigslist. My lone wolfs are over 20 years old and not showing any signs of wear. https://www.cabelas.com/product/Big-Game-Treestands-Heavy-Duty-Ratchet-Strap/1619028.uts Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  3. I have a new extra large jumpsuit I’ll never fit in it. It’s got to be over 15 years old but I never wore it. I buy things in bulk when I like them. Anyway I’m hoping someone can use it. First I’ll take can have it for free. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  5. My buddy did that a few years ago. They eat everything. He would move the pen around it didn't take long for them to wipeout a 1/4 acre lot.The smell took another year to get rid of PU.
  6. If you can get to the hole and fill it with used cat litter then bury it they’ll stay out from under there. I had one under my fronts steps shot him and another one showed up got rid of him and fill the holes around my property. Haven’t seen one yet. Apparently they use the same cavities over and over again. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Not really a knife but has one on it. The leatherman wingman gets carried everyday. I just picked up a buck ranger with rosewood and drop point this thing is built like a tank. Now that they change the gravity knife law I’ll be able to change it up a little every now and then. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  11. Here’s my fly selection so far,I should add I never caught anything on a fly. Going to test a 10’jon boat I traded for my scano so I’m bringing the fly rod only tomorrow not really expecting much but I’ll give it a shot. The two bottom flys are from my saltwater attempt never worked out. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  13. I've been reading and watching videos for the past few months about trout fishing mostly brook trout.Theres little streams and creeks all over the place up by my house[fulton/Hamilton county's] The problem i'm having is I don't know what the heck i'm looking for? Everything I read and watched says trout like to sit behind rocks well after throwing spinners, spoons, grubs and minnows[plastic] i'm lost.I've walked up and down west and east Canada creek and never got a hit or saw a fish. There's a few ponds I can get to but they look very shallow and snaggy.I'm also not sure where I can fish left bank - right bank what the heck is that all about. Some spots had nothing but rocks for as far as I could see other spots where void of anything.I'm planning another trip up in a few weeks just to fish this time. I was thinking of throwing a worm out this time everything likes worms.Would a fly be a better set up I have a 4wt. and 9wt. never caught anything on a fly but tried a few times in saltwater.Looking for some tips to get me started.
  14. That’d be awesome thanks. I love this site Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  16. Did see any more birds until I walked there was the usual hen in my yard. Now I’m not sure what to do tomorrow. Hunt here or head to the state land. On a good note I found my double glass call I left it in a stick blind last year needs a cleaning and maybe some glue around the edges. Hopefully it still sings. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Didn’t even get dressed and there was one gobbling his head off out back change of plain halfass ran out and set up. I could see him up in the tree. After he flew down I yelp a few times, but there was a hen in between us she came in he didn’t. Then the sky opened up he was ripping to every thunder clap. He’s on the other property I don’t hunt but nether do the owners. Drying everything and heading back a little more prepared. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Back up at my place for another shot. 50 degrees slight chance of rain. Good luck and congrats to everyone. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. When you shoot the 31/2" shells does your pump slide back? I have the same gun it always open the action after I took a shot.just wondering if it's common for that to happen.
  20. Two out of six made it. Now they just have to avoid the hawks. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. it's a bag and a vacuum mouse[?] I bought a vacuum sealer from umai and got to pick two kits,I'm going to try the charcuterie kit next. https://www.drybagsteak.com/dry-aging-beef-directions.php Your more then welcome to the aged kits
  22. What is that it looks yummy!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Tried an aging kit. Did a small rib roast. Raining so I cooked one in the cast iron then to the oven to finish it off. It wasn’t bad but to me it’s not worth the wait. I’d rather have a 28 hour old steak then a 28 day. Just me I have to kits left if anyone wants to give it a shot. All you need is the meat, vacuum sealer and a refrigerator. 24. Ya I've seen you mention it a few times on here. The deciding factor was the price. I lost/left my double glass somewhere last year. That was my go to call. Life would be easier if I could use a mouth call.
