Saw four bucks on the way up to my place over the weekend they still had there antlers.Also saw a huge herd of deer in a field in harriman state park.I've never been there before but might look onto it for a quick weekend trip.

If I remember this right the wrist rocket is illegal.One of carolyn McCarty doings it's been illegal for years.

Just wondering how many of you guy/gals use decoys. I’ve always put two hens out if I had the chance. I have a jake but it spoked a bird and I never used it again. I hunt in the woods no fields around here. My decoys are those fold up flabuo ones from 20 years ago they still look great last year a hen came in and hung around it was like a peanut shuffle trying to figure out which one was the real bird. I’m getting a pumped up now. Went up to my house this weekend after reading first-lights post all good here with about 26” of ice/snow on the ground. I'd say i'm around a 4 I can call them in but never close enough to kill.I love it but hate the bugs that usually go along with them.

been out about 9 times since feb. 15th nothing but an old chewed up antler. it's getting to warm around here for me.

Well I got the tat'r kickstand vest today.It's has plenty of room for sure and quit comfortable. Three things !] the seat doesn't stay up 2] I thought i'd be able to get my decoys out without taking the vest off. 3]If your a box call guy the pocket is very small I use a waterproof wizard which is small anything over 7" isn't going to fit well. I like how the pockets zip or hook and you can lock the zippers with the hoops.I'm heading up to my place this weekend to check things out so I'll load it up and see how it really feels. damn sideward pics!!!!

I’m a gps guy theses days. Still carry two compasses with me,but trust my gps more. I find it hard to find landmarks in the distance here in NY. It seems like no one cares for the kickstand but like the vest.I only found two utube video's it does look very roomy.

I've been looking at turkey vests. I'm leaning towards the cabela's tactical tat'r kickstand vest? anyone use this vest or have a recommendation. I go to the runnings in gloverville everytime I go up to my house.They have all kinds of useful stuff.I needed a #0 foot hold trap a guy in tractor supply said if runnings doesn't have them no one around here does.They had them plus a isle of trapping supply's.Also a good supply of candy.

I picked up a mouse trap last summer the shrew was in the mouse eating it.The only thing left was the head and skin.

I like how jim m. explains how deer started walking with the wind to smell anything coming up behind it.Me and my older brother started noticing it years ago.If they can see far a head of them they'll come in with the wind at there backs especially when approaching a field.

looks great most fox mounts I've seen never look right.
