    Code Red

Momma said not to get peer-pressured into doing drugs.
  2. I can't wait till they finish building the one in Yonkers.

    Code Red

I saran wrapped it and hid it behind the bottle of mayo. I'll just quilt trip her by telling her how fatten mayo is. She'll never find it.

    Code Red

I may be a city slicker but I've already been told never to eat yellow snow.

    Code Red

It was early in the 1st half when it looked like Aaron Rodgers was going to make a joke out of the Saints.

    Code Red

I ordered the Code Red Doe Estrous and it's been sitting in my closet for a couple of weeks now. Bored while watching the Packers/Saints game, I decided to open it up and take a whiff. Good mother of God! That thing hit me like a can of mace! This is my first experience so I don't know if that's what all scents suppose to be like but I'm just saying you guys are suppose to warn me about this stuff. Like say "Hey...do not open a bottle of doe urine and stick it by your nose and inhale." Just saying...
  7. Umm...outside of tuning it at the shop, I haven't even shot my bow.
  8. Didn't you buy one not too long ago?
  9. Good point. I stand corrected. I guess since I'm still new at this, the anticipation on my first buck is still eating at me.
  10. Ah...yes. I remember that. Always a pleasure. Thanks!
  11. There's another Elmo on here before? I joined around November of last year.
  12. The fact that it is limited to only big games and only during regular rifle and late muzzleloader seasons just wasn't worth it for me. Eventhough the odds are low, the fact that the law was only signed to 2014 means there's a slight chance that it'll be illegal again entirely. I had thought about getting one for small game and varmint hunting where the pressure isn't as great and I can enjoy the experience of shooting a crossbow. For big game, there is so much competition, I can't afford to sacrifice the rifle. I figured (at least for my situation) why spend $500+ on something that I will probably never get to use in a real live hunting situation and might have to get rid of it in a couple of years?

    From Road

Based on page 18 of the 2011 Hunter's Regulation Manual. "It is illegal to take or hunt wildlife: • on or from any public road." Nothing as regarding distance.
  14. In the southern regions, there are houses surrounding you in all directions so an additional 500 feet means you've lost 500 feet behind you, 500 in front of you, to your left, your right, etc. For some people, the extra 500 feet rule can potentially cost them up to 17 acres of hunting land. I did the math.
  15. "Cocaine is a hell of a drug" - Rick James.
  16. Welcome aboard. Check the classified section in this forum. I just remember seeing someone offer a left handed Remington 700 BDL for sale.
  17. Considering that I wasn't planning on bowhunting this year but then less than a month ago I said the heck with it and went out and bought one (just got my bowhunting certification this past Saturday) then I still need: Buy bowhunting license. Buy a tree stand (climber). De-scent. Buy some broadheads. Last minute double-check the zero on my rifles. Some time in the archery range. I know. Very last minute. The fact that it rained 6 straight Sundays in July/August just freakin' ruined my whole schedule.
  18. Well, now it's easy access. You have a walk bridge to your stand.
  19. Suggestion: On top of each topic there's a "follow this topic" setting. There should also be a "ignore this topic" setting. If there's a topic that you have no interest in or it simply doesn't pertain to you then you probably wouldn't want it to constantly show up in the "new content" list whenever someone post in that discussion.
  20. No need John, I was just curious. If iPad can view the full website then there's no need for an app.
  21. No prompt on iPad. It goes straight into the site as a full browser. As a matter of fact, I posted this from the pad.

  23. Hmm...it has not prompt me on the iPad, I don't recall. But then again, I haven't checked it since the new site has been up. Will take a look tonight.
