    Have never truly tried to figure it out.id does seem the little chits are out there on a nice clear night with the moon up,eating away.then back in bed by 3-4am.seems like we all get that jist.grandfather always hated the clear sky/moon nights.hunts then seem worthless as typically dont see squat!

    Agree'd!all of my stands are setup for a west wind.may be able to get away with one stand but blows my scent right into a neighboring tall field i think they are coming from!might be on the ground this weekend to make it work

    No joke>>>Reminds me of the one afternoon i was one my way home from work coming around back of airport and there layed a dead deer with candle's lit around it.had to do a double take,thought i was seeing it wrong!!

    I use detachable.only time its on is my walk to/from.slide it off and sits next to me when in stand/on ground.have never tried keeping it on but tips up,its habit

    Slow at work with the GM stuff going on and just got the green light on taking fridays off the rest of deer season,aslong as doesnt get real busy!!!!3 day weekends will give me some nice stand time
