    Pro tip - pack in sneakers or something comfortable. Not only is it more comfortable to sit in an old pair of shoes versus the heavy boots but your feet also stay warmer because the insulated boots stop the warm air from the heater from warming up your feet if they got cold.     No, Alivia grew out of those in one season then we got another pair from @sodfather and those she grew out of in a half of a season! Both pairs of boots still get used though. They have a temporary home in my truck just in case anyone’s kids ever needs boots during the season. They saved the day twice last year and by next year Caroline should fit into Samatha’s.     Didn’t see a thing today. Very low harvest compared to other other years at the club. So tempted to have another drink a prolong my misery but it’s time for bed as 4:30am is just a few short hours away. Morning sit followed by a meet up with my wife half way to home to grab my oldest then back in the stand for the evening.     Ahhhh the wonderful life of a bow hunter. Grind out a month and a half of hunting with no success. Opening day of the regular season rolls around and your buddy who hasn’t stepped foot on the property since September puts a buck down 10 min into the season. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    I vote @Swamp_bucks: for sportsman of the year. Decides to hold a chili dinner to revive the old tradition of the a big gathering before opening day.     About 12 i scanned real hard for a while before standing up to pee. So the deed and turn around only to have a doe at 35 yards broadside in the open but walking into the thicket. No time to even grab my bow. Ugh. At least the three weren’t spooked and just wandered off. Up to 11 doe seen Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
