    Still out here at the house. Generator still just humming away. I made sure to clear it with my wife that leaving for hunting is ok which of course she doesn’t mind at all. Probably a bonus of having an automatic generator she doesn’t have to worry about anything when the power comes back on the generator shuts itself off. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    We lost power around 3pm and it’s still out. Longest we have ever lost power in this house in the 8 years we have been here. Good thing a whole home generator was already installed when we bought. Dang thing is worth it’s weight in gold. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    I picked up a used Mission Craze from @Swamp_bucks for my at that time 10 year old daughter and the adjustability on it is great. If she wanted she could use that bow her entire life that's how adjustable it is.

    Ugh I know right! Been watching the weather all week. I wish I could sneak out tomorrow then Just take Saturday off of hunting. If the weather stays the same I think I’m going to sit in my enclosed stand from sunup until around 1 when the wind is suppose to get bad then boogie out of there.     Gun's, hunting and politics are intertwined but I do think the forum would be served better if the general political talk that has nothing to do with guns and hunting was eliminated.

    No one is forcing anyone to use anything they don't want to use. If you think modern inline's are too easy, use something else that's harder. Don't like the idea of a scope, Don't use one. Don't like the idea of the muzzloader season at all, don't hunt it. I'm honestly getting really tired of hearing how this or that is to easy or doesn't make sense and it should be changed to make it better. Hunt what you want to hunt when it's legal to do so and leave everyone else that likes it how it is alone. I'll step off my soapbox now.

    Hardest part of this whole dang contest is remembering 1. who you already picked and 2. who already shot a buck. Tis true though my buck tag got used on a spike (3" one side and 3.5" the other) so I am out of the buck game until the muzzle loader season. I'll try to make up for it by putting 4 doe on the ground this weekend for you.

    Agreed, this season has been bad compared to the last few. I don't hunt nearly as much as some of you but I had 14 hunts during the bow season with only one good day that I saw 11 Doe. I saw a total of 18 deer during the bow season not one of them a mature buck. So far for the gun season I am at 9 hunts and I've only seen 4 deer and they where all together so that means the other 8 times I have been out with a gun I haven't seen a thing.
