  1. "Radical Core Decompression" wound - the most lethal of wounds Who came up with that marketing line? Had to have been a guy with two first names...
  2. Wouldnt you be upset if you had to pass on that due to mandatory ARs?
  3. I got my otterbox brand new for $27 shipped on ebay. I love it.
  4. You dont need a bullet button. Just this stock and a barrel with no brake and you are good to go. Theres actually another device that makes it so the mag release doesnt work the way a normal one would. It includes a new quick release rear pin. You pop the rear pin out, split the upper and lower, and the mag pops out. No other mod necessary. They are waiting on word if thats enough to make the mag become considered fixed.
  5. Yawn.....This repetition required to keep you on track is making me drowsy at this point. Doc, do you even remember my original statement or have you twisted things up so much in your head that you have lost sight of it? The misinformation is in the insinuation that Cuomo came up with these proposals, and that the facts about this not being the first time they have been included in a budget was completely left out. Good, complete journalism would have included these facts and left people to make a decision on their own, instead, they spoon feed people their opinions under the guise of news. Its something that news agencies do alot of these days, and I find it pretty nauseating, no matter the stance or issue.
  6. Someone makes a point you dont agree with and now, according to you, it makes absolutely no sense. Shocking. Its funny Doc, usually you are the kind of guy that questions things you read on the internet, but now, you buy right into exactly what you are being spoon fed. Interesting. Honestly, Id like to see crossbows pass on their own, then we wouldnt have to hear the future whining from the antis saying "they snuck it in the budget" or "it wouldn't have passed if it wasnt in the budget" etc etc.
  7. I dont care that Cuomo is and has supported crossbows. I support them either way. Im not going to keep explaining how it is in fact, misinformation, you obviously cant grasp it. Why? Probably because you are so blinded by your feelings for Cuomo.
  8. Belo has been against it all along, but now hes trying to use Cuomo to gain traction for his stance. Its not Cuomos idea, no matter how you try and spin it. Why werent you complaining about the same exact thing last year? It was in the original budget, Cuomo said he supported it, the SAFE act was in place, yet not a peep from anyone until a couple of news outlets put their own editorial spin on the facts. Perfect example of misinformation making a mountain out of a mole hill.
  9. Greg, keep it clean. Even though you didnt use complete words, its still against the rules to curse. Im sure Ill take flack for asking someone to adhere to the rules. Flame away...
  10. Hey Doc, remember that misinformation stuff I was talking about in the setback thread? There it is.....
  11. Its accurate. You can buy them setup like that. There are a couple of other options that havent been ruled on quite yet that may circumvent the safe act while keeping the regular pistol grip. Theres a 6 month wait for ordering that stock BTW
  12. I wasnt pointing fingers with the comment. Just a general statement is all.
  13. Yep, its some grandstanding the issue on his part, but these would have been inserted into the budget this year, just like they were last year, even if he wasnt playing the grand standing game with them. Many of these articles are insinuating that these proposals, or the insertion of them into the budget, was Cuomos idea. Thats where it becomes misinformation. My problem with this, is that the safe act stuff is such a big bone of contention with many people, that they hate Cuomo and oppose ANYTHING his name is attached to, even if its something they would normally agree with, or debate legitimately rather than just saying Cuomo likes it so Im against it. Thats really all Im saying. JMO.
  14. Again, Cuomo did not insert anything (with the exception of his head into his you know what, but that happened a loooong time ago haha). The bad journalism thing that I have an issue with is because its misinformation, and people are (obviously) blindly following and running with it. IMO People should make an informed decision on things, not just blindly follow what someone says based on emotions.
  15. I dont hunt fox on the farm. Not allowed. I dont hunt the yotes for pelts.
  16. Not right now, but at some point it will probably get a McMillan stock or something along those lines. Ive read some very good reviews on the VTR, most of the so so reviews seemed to involve factory loads. Ill be loading my own. The 26" barrel should give a bit more speed, as this one is basically a 20" barrel. I wanted something with less weight to carry. My SPSV had the 26 and i hated taking it out hunting where i had to walk a distance because it was too heavy.
  17. Yep. The biggest thing i hate about it is the red filter is so friggin thick, it cuts alot of the brightness. I need to find some thin red plastic sheet to make a better filter with.
  18. Looks like any muzzle device you have on it would need to come off, which if it was made to the old NY compliance will be a pain, as they had to be pinned and welded. Then, you have to remove the gas block and maybe the barrel nut. Looks like a pain in the butt.
  19. My 223 had an illuminated reticle. It worked perfectly hunting with a light. You just keep it on its lowest setting.
