  1. I like eastern euro too. I have a friend thats from Cypress. Her accent is the best. Shes very easy on the eyes to boot.
  2. A head shot, when done correctly, drops them in their tracks. Doesnt get any quicker.
  3. Nah, I just have a thing for a woman with a southern accent. Reminds me of days gone by when I lived down south.
  4. Ive used Irish Spring soap, and an old sock soaked with AXE body gel soap. Both worked equally as well.
  5. Yep, great people too. Ive ordered some stuff from them and had to call customer service once. The girl had a cute southern accent and was very helpful.
  6. Oh I agree Culver. We should also have a section just for deer processor information. Ill run it by John. Even if the reloading section is just a sub board in the Guns and Rifles forum.
  7. As long as its not a 223, that might not be enough gun to kill it.
  8. I didnt even see your post Culver, you were probably posting while I was typing lol.
  9. Look at Midsouth Shooters Supply. Their prices and shipping costs were better than Midway last I checked.
  10. Great pics, as always Dave. Cant wait to see more this year, I always look forward to them.
  11. Neat looking rifles, but for the $620 - $820 price tag, Ill stick with my Encore.
  12. Yeah maybe I said that wrong. My point is, Id rather anchor the deer and ruin some meat than track one all day and pick silverskin out of my teeth lol.
  13. I have no problem ruining a few lbs of meat that you have to pick the damn silverskin out of anyhow. I would never use the front shoulders as roasts, I dont enjoy biting into layer after layer of silverskin.
  14. One time I did it like a jalapeno popper, with the pepper stuffed with cream cheese, wrapped in venison, then bacon. I did those in the oven and they turned out great.
  15. They spend more time at the bait pile if they have to pick the meat off the bones. Gives more time for a shot....
  16. Geno.....seriously? ROFL Just not right my friend!
  17. Ive done that as well. Its better to put the bacon inside, as it will burn on the grill before the venison is cooked. The best way to add the bacon is to cook thick cut bacon ahead of time, dice it and mix it in the cream cheese with the jalapenos.
  18. yotes, foxes and other critters gotta eat too!
  19. I never said it would be outlawed. I said it would be nothing like what we know it as now. Remember, we are the minority in this country. By alot. Valid reasons like population control are what keeps the non hunting majority from letting the antis sway them with their BS. I wouldnt advise filling every tag for the sake of filling them, irregardless of what your local deer herd can withstand. In my area, stack em like cord wood, as Culver would say. Im not bent out of shape.
  20. Look at the right eye, its obviously the same deer.
  21. I target the shoulders with a larger caliber. Delivers all of the energy and anchors them. Remember, you can end up slipping a bullet between ribs and through the lungs, and not get a ton of energy transfer. Youre in for a long track job.
  22. I dont think Id take a shoulder shot with the 223, Id stick to heart/lung area.
  23. I can say that more often than not, they have not asked. I am not talking about being a pain in the ass.
