  1. Possibly. I’m not really looking for this year though. It’s too close to the season to get it setup properly. I’d like to find something starting in the late winter or spring if possible.
  2. Went down to check the plot and tighten/adjust the fence today. As you can see in the pics, it’s doing great. Over a foot deep in most spots. Outside of the fence has been hammered.
  3. I dont Plant beans. It’s purple top turnips, rape, ground hog radish, and red and white clover. In the spring I am going to put it in buckwheat and oats to help with Nitrogen for the fall, keep the weeds down, and give the deer and turkeys something for the summer. I have a clover plot not far far from this one that I started With clover and winter rye. It’s a process that works great.
  4. That’s what I always Used to do. Bought this land last year and put in the plots. The deer had it wiped out by mid September. Like down to the dirt, and things slowed down a lot during the season. I have no ag around me except for a couple of hay lots with the closest being almost a mile away. All of the neighbors that have tried plots in this area have given up on them because they are always wiped out before the season starts.
  5. Dont believe it. I tried mine off of my deck and it was in the trash can before I put my rifle back in the cabinet.
  6. A phone is all you need for a live feed!
  7. Nice. Now scrap that illuminator it came with and get a good one. Wicked Lights is what I recommend. Mount it below the barrel. You can thank me later
  8. Gettcha one of these. You might even be able to mount a go pro on it and kill 2 skunks with one BB.
  9. If you are looking for young bucks, sure, but mature bucks do not act like does.
  10. I just use a small backpack. I have 2 hooks at every stand, plus my bow holder. My backpack goes on one of the hooks. I dont want alot of stuff on my chest or sides that may get in the way of my string or bow, and cause me issues when taking a shot. You never know when you may need to take a shot from an odd position.
  11. Yeah, thats why I used all ribbon instead of wire, so it is easily visible and looks bigger than it is.
  12. Here is what I originally followed, and will be going back to. http://deerbuilder.com/DB/features/foodplots/FoodPlotElectricFencing/
  13. It was working great until I raised that strand. Ill just lower it again and it should be all good.
  14. Well, raising the outer strand of the fence is not working well. The deer have figured out that they can get under it, and then jump the inner fence from in between. Ive been getting a ton of pics all morning of them doing it. Ill have to go down there tonight after work and drop that strand down a bit.
  15. I have ferns all over my property in places where things grow just fine. They are just a pain to get rid of.
  16. A BB gun? Dude, youre gonna get sprayed. Please please please make sure to video this...
  17. Gly only kills ferns to a point. The leves die, but grow right back from the bulbs. They are a pain in the arse to get rid of.
  18. Let me look around, I think I have a set somewhere. I dont use ladder stands much anymore, so you are welcome to them if I can find them.
  19. Time sure does fly, doesnt it? My son started 3rd grade today and my daughter starts 10th tomorrow. Seems like just yesterday I was in your shoes with my daughter, and now I only have 2 first days of school left with her.
  20. One of the reasons I wanted this car was that its kind of a throwback to what muscle cars were meant to be in alot of ways. Sure, it has a ton of tech built into it, but at the core, this thing is pure muscle car. When I was a kid, I always remember thinking of the 450hp mark as being incredibly hard to achieve in a car with good street manners. Who would have thought that we would have 700+ horsepower off the showroom floor in a car that you can throw the kids in, go to hockey practice and pick the groceries up with the day before you go on a weekend drive down to the drag strip and run sub-11 second passes, and then drive the thing back home?
  21. BTW, a guy I know in the Hellcat world just set the new bar for all steel, factory frame and block Hellcats. He was the first one to break into the 8s and the other day he broke into the 7s. Im pretty sure the car has more in it as well. https://www.allpar.com/news/2019/08/the-epling-garage-hellcat-challenger-is-in-the-7s-45671
  22. The new tires have made a world of difference. The old tires wouldnt get traction hardly at all, I spun on a 50 roll with it, it was just stupid. Traction can still be an issue from a stop or even a slow roll, but once Im over 30, she just grips and goes!
  23. Oh I didnt take it as a jab at all, Im always game for a little fun, regardless if I end up winning or not. Im not one of those guys that thinks my car is the baddest on the planet, or gets upset if I lose. Its all in good fun. I love that G8, always thought they were a good looking, fun car to drive. Honestly, sometimes having the Hellcat gets boring in a way, not many out there will even go because they are afraid of getting gapped. As long as the weather cooperates, Im going to take her down to Empire Dragway next Friday night and get my butt kicked for a few hours lol.
