I like a 223 myself. Plenty of readilly available guns out there that shoot it, lots of options with factory loads and pretty inexpensive to shoot. Downright cheap if you reload.

Here are a couple of pics from my D40 just for reference. The D50 is going to give slightly better quality. Its nowhere near the quality of a homebrew.

Think about how much you spend on those toe and foot warmers, and the heat levels on those are not adjustable. I know I spend around $25 a season on them, if its a particularly cold season, I may spend more. These will pay for themselves in 4 seasons or less, and seem to be alot better than the ones I use now. My feet usually stay pretty warm, but when they do get cold, I dont stay in my stand very long. These just might be the ticket for no more cold feet. BTW, remember, I coyote hunt, which is mostly done in the coldest months of the year.

We the tax payers, are constantly paying for the fight for/against issues such as these. Court, attorney fees, etc etc cost money and clog up the system. Believe me, Im not sticking up for the left wing here, and I certainly dont agree with the majority of what they represent, Im just saying that people should take their blinders off and realize that BOTH parties pull the same kind of crap, just in different ways, and we ALL pay for it.

Skillet, I have to partially disagree with you at this point. Not all of the rightwingers want people to be able to make their minds up either. Two good examples of that are the stances on abortion and gay marriage. If people want or need to have abortions, it should be their right to choose to do so. Same with gay marriage, who really cares? It doesnt affect you, so let them get married if they want to. There are other things that many right wingers want to force upon others because they dont agree with it, so the door swings both ways when comparing party lines.

The front plastic isnt that tough to get off. You have to remove the racks first, then the bolts holding the plastic on are exposed. I had to take the one I had last year apart to fix the headlight wiring.

Yep, thats a great price on the D50s. Cant really pass up $60 per cam.

I used to have a Moultrie D40, and they still make a version of them. The Moultrie D55. It had good battery life and took great pics. If you want better pics, I would look into home brews. They are a bit more on the pricey side, but the pics are awesome.

Lol no kidding.I originally got a large jacket, but the sleeves were short. If my damn knee would get to feeling better soon, I could get back into the gym. I hyper extended it the 3rd weekend of gun season when I stepped into a leaf and stick covered hole.

I don't think it really does. The great thing about fall grey is how open it is. The brown deception is not as open. I may end up getting fall grey for my new stuff as well. I was actually thinking of getting the green deception so I could use it for turkey in the spring as wel.

I have the fall grey pants and jacket, but they are not the fleece, they are the insulated warp knit. Their sizing runs about normal. I'm an XL with t-shirts, etc, and the XL jacket fits great. I'm a size 36 pants and the L bibs are very comfortable. As far as patterns go, I love the fall grey for tree stand and late season hunting. I think the deception patterns are nice as well. I'm torn between green and brown deception for my new early season stuff. I'll probably go with the brown in the uninsulated warp knit material.

Im a fan of anyone that knocks Jesse Ventura on his ass.
