Yes you can. It is not against the law to put a rifle, muzzleloader or shotgun barrel on an Encore if it's on your pistol permit. The subject has been visited on the site before.

I'm not sure it would be legal at all. For a rifle, minimum barrel length is 16" And I don't think you can use any type of stock on a pistol. I would ask DEC if it would be legal to hunt with at all.

Not sure if they are licking or eating from the carcasses, but it's not the first time I've seen deer take interest in other dead deer or gut piles. I put the cam on video mode, so maybe if the deer return I can see what they are doing better.

I went and checked my cam thats been sitting on a pile of deer parts from butchering and a couple of road kills I put there for a couple of weeks. I got a few good pics, but no fox or coyotes this year yet, just crows, some deer and a couple of hawks. This is a different spot than I had put a pile last year, and so far Im a little disappointed. I shot my only yote of the year there last year, and so far this year, not even a track down there. We will see what ends up coming around, but here are the first ones...

If he checked the story, he would see it was false, making it a rumor. Instead of looking into it, he gave a rumor legs by posting about it here, therefore spreading a rumor and misinformation.

What I said makes total sense, you are SPREADING the rumor. I never said you created it. Like I said, before SPREADING a rumor, do some checking. Looks like others had no problem finding the real story.

Well maybe you should check the validity of the story before you publicly spread false rumors, which is essentially what you did. Thinking before you post or speak doesn't seem to be your strong suit.

I used Avon gun supply to transfer my Encore last week. Cost me $70 for transfer and shipping to WI.

They had a guy with a pretty neat gun sling system where you have a nylon pouch attached to your belt and some semi flexible shooting sticks that attach to your barrel. The ways you could carry the gun were neat, and the built in sticks acted as an adjustable rest. I'll have to see if I can't find it online. I also forgot to stop and get one on my way out, but they had a nice cross shoulder gun holster for $25 that would work great for my XD40. Hopefully it's there again at the next show.

Well, the first thing to educate him of is this, if you mistake your 20 yard pin for your 10 yard pin ( who the heck has a 10 yard pin btw), you'll hit high, not low.

We have gotten the best response from fox with the lucky bird on my buddy's fox pro. The coyotes I called in last year all came to cottontail and jackrabbit distress calls.

I saw some cheap ammo at the gun show today. Name of it was Rising Sun. I figured it was Chinese stuff. The cheapest I'll buy is Wolf, which is Russian, and has always been ok.

For Christmas this year, I told my daughter that if she saved up half or more of the cost of a TC Hot Shot 22, that I would make up the rest of the cost and pick one up for her at the first gun show of the year. The TC Hot Shot is a kid's sized 22 that is pretty much a mini Encore. There are no other barrels you can get or anything like that, but its a nice little gun thats made in the USA, unlike most of the kids 22s, which are Chinese. I tried to get her one with pink camo stocks, but the only pink one at the show was marked at $40 above retail, so I got her a black one instead. I cant wait to see her face when she comes over on Tuesday and gets to open it up. Heres a couple of pics, and the last one is for size reference compared to my full size Encore...
