Grilled salmon with everything bagel spices, I will do this again. Wife made the homemade box Mac and cheese, her specialty.

They want us to start wearing masks again???

Best thing I've seen on this subject. Without calling somebody or a group of people names because they disagree with their opinion, how refreshing. -
G-man has given great information last couple years for myself. He is spot on, I didn't even have to mow my clover and had great success with wheat and rye. Wheat is hard for me to get a hold of but the deer by me did like it more.

Stuffed banana and Hungarian wax peppers with cilantro cream cheese and shredded cheddar. Wife made some zucchini bread with chocolate chips.

Peppers are back! Everytime I go upstate I expect to see my garden destroyed when I comeback. It has been almost a month since the last deer invasion and with a little fertilizer and a ton of rain the pepper plants look healthier then ever! I can't speak highly enough about the deer spray I've been using. Italian eggplant is almost there but anyone who loves Eggplant should grow the Asian version. Very plentiful and produces much earlier. The last picture is a row of eggplant (that's DE on the first plant not mildew). Cilantro and basil are knee high, Cilantro is about to bolt so I'll cut it way back tomorrow. Carrots are way slower then expected, I'm ready for fresh carrots and potatoes.

Forgot the after pictures lol. Bison burgers were awesome, I made them with Swiss but I think American or cheddar would have gone better with them.

My wife bought some outdoor lights for our cabin, she likes them so far. Listening to some Muddy Waters having a beer and enjoying the fire.

It was a joke. Come on man, honestly I was waiting for your input because you know your snakes (I liked your post). Breathe man
-
I know you love snakes, for that comment there might be one less snake in the world soon.
-
Not the best pictures but any help would be great. Just worry about my dogs because the snake hangs out right outside our front porch. Snake is never aggressive slithers away into briars when I get close. I would say about 4 foot long and we are 30 minutes north of Utica if that helps.

What does this prison plate consist off? Looks amazing

I made some venison fajitas at my buddies house. Had about five guys shooting recurve, what a blast. Even better I came home to this! Great way to use up a bunch of eggplant from the garden. https://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/food-network-kitchen/moussaka-recipe-2011412

Out of the 150 sunflowers I planted these are the only ones who survived the deer. Marigolds have far exceeded my expectations.

Asian eggplant is abundant (I gave three away to neighbors walking there dogs today), as is yellow squash. I was away on business the last couple of days and the zucchini got way to big, probably make bread with it. Italian eggplant is getting there probably a week away. Cukes aren't healthy and I'm not sure what to do about that, still getting slicer cukes but the pickling ones are dieing off. My peppers that the deer ate are making a comeback and looking healthy! Hopefully they keep staying away with this deer spray I'm using! Not cost efficient at all but I grew these plants from seed in February and want results! Wish everyone having a difficult time good luck! If I'm around I always fertilize lightly before a hard rain and it seems to work for me. Sunflowers should have there first full bloom tomorrow I'll try and remember to take a picture.

Thanks for the idea! I dont like rice so we threw some ramen noodles as a substitute. So good.

Halibut and swordfish cooked with a sous vide at 130 for 35 minutes, finished on a stove top. Swordfish sucks I give up on it, however the Halibut was amazing. Boiled potatoes from the garden were great.

I can't ever find a use for bay scallops, they are on sale this week. I'm going to snag some and try this, looks great.
-
So funny how that works, I have been getting about 10 a week from three plants but almost zero even green tomatoes. My butternut squash is just starting but they are loaded as well.

All of this makes sense thanks guys.

Seems white clover is more popular with food plotters. My question is why. Is it more compatible with other food sources used in mixes? Is it just a better draw? Better for the land? Last longer? It seems my red clover grows extremely quickly and goes to seed quickly, as my white clover stays pretty low.

Plants look healthy, awesome setup good luck to you guys!

Cant keep up with the zucchini. Some cucumbers are getting big, deer spray is doing its job so far. My pepper plants that were eaten down to the numb are making a slow comeback, hopefully they will give me some peppers if left alone. Not from my garden but I bought some treats from the Warwick farmers market. Bison burgers, ostrich steak, and goat meat for stew. Also some halibut but pretty sure that wasn't local.

Asian eggplant, squash, zucchini, a couple different peppers. I sprayed some deer repellent in a heavy quantity, it has worked the last four days but my garden is about tapped out for now. I'm happy just to be able to salvage some of the garden the last week.

Made my first batch of pickles from the garden. I have five jars of pickled zucchini which is almost an every night snack these days. I never heard of pickled zucchini until last year, if anyone has extra zucchini it's a must try.
