I'm so glad I'm not a truck driver any longer.

I'm in the not worth it camp.. do whatever you can do get away from conflict. I cary. But I'm going to do anything and everything possible to get away from the situation. Last thing I want to do is pull my weapon. It's a last resort.

Yrs ago I had someone pull up next to me in a passing zone and point a pistol at me. I slammed on the brakes and he went past me and kept going. Few miles up the road was a trooper barracks, and wouldn't you know he was in the lot waving his arms and pointing towards me. I pulled in and the trooper was trying to calm the guy down as he was a was a raving lunatic. I mentioned to the trooper that he was armed, and a quick call on the radio had several other troopers coming out of the barracks. They found the pistol on the front seat, and the trooper asked him one simple question. If you didn't point or show the pistol, how did he know you had one? He was speechless. Filed a report, and never found out why the guy did what he did, or what the outcome was.

The 02 sensors are in the primary converter. None in the secondary converter, and that's the one they cut out. It passed inspection easily.

Well, the deer called me a friggin liar today.. Every deer I've seen today fed through the neighbors hay lot into the rye fields to feed. These 4 fed up to my position and wouldn't have had a clue I was there except I forgot to turn the flash off, and the first pic definitely caught there attention, lol.

Great first sit of the yr. Seen 12. Had a 4pt, spike and 3 does within 15 yards. All got passes. The 3 8pts didn't follow the script, and crossed over to the field about 100 yrds down.

NYC probably has a few "safe/cry rooms" though. Wipe those nightmares outta your head..

I've never been to NYC, and I have no desire to go there. I despise large crowds and congestion. Not sure why it boggles your mind when you traded that life for the one you have now. If it's so great, why didn't you stay? From what I read and see on the news, my definition of world class and yours differ greatly.

They obviously prefer what's growing in the hay portion of the field over the rye. Last time these hay fields have been replanted was probably 15+ yrs ago. Didn't see deer in the rye last winter either. I'm wondering if it's because it's a rye for whiskey, that it might not have to same appeal as typical cereal rye. Different type of rye that just doesn't taste good.

I know everyone says rye, but the deer in my area don't touch it. Landowner has 60 acres planted in 3 different fields. It's 3" high and the deer don't touch it. Before someone says it's not cereal rye, yes it is. He harvest in the summer to make rye whiskey. He has one field split in two. Basically there is a 60 yrd wide strip of unplowed, unplanned field between the two rye plots. The deer flock to that area in the field that isn't planted.

I know the area well. I'm not sure I'd admit being heckled by David Cassidy, lol. I take my dogs to the Chatham vet.

Ya, no 02 sensor on the secondary converter.

I guess there's two converters. One built into the manifold, impossible to get to quickly, and a secondary one before the muffler. It's the secondary converter they removed. Thinking straight pipe it. It passed inspection today without it, lol. One would think the thieves would have been kind enough to leave a little pipe after the flange to weld or clamp to, but noooooo. Cut just about flush with the flange..

Were in old Chatham about 25 min north of Hudson, and probably 15min from claverack. We're in Columbia county, but only a few minutes from Rensselaer county.

Client has a 07 escape hybrid that they gave me. 135k mi, leather, in very good condition. Went to pick it up today and when I started it, it was loud. I instantly knew what was wrong. They don't come upstate very often, and it's a quiet rd. Not sure when, but some scumbag cut the catalytic converter out of it.

Definitely before the front. But as Larry mentioned, once the rut kicks in, just get out and hunt.

Still haven't been out yet with the bow. Maybe tomorrow before the rain hits. Seen 3 decent bucks fighting yesterday morning on my way to a doc appointment. Congrats to those that have scored.
