Yea that is my thoughts too,a little $$ for me.I am glad NY has not said can't use lead bullets yet for Muzzle loaders.Atleast not that I am aware of.I will probably stick to my two favorites bullets of the FPB and the No Excuses.. but I do still wonder how those those will work on game,I have heard great results.

  4. It apears that why, just can't figure out why its not on TC's site under exclusives.....As stated earlier I think it will sell just fine.In general most ML's don't change barrels any way.IMO...

WWW.Thorbullets.com I have spoken to Terry the owner on the phone and via email, but have yet to try them on game......They are a little more then the FPB and a decent amount more then no excuses. I hope to try some soon.I just got some more no excuses, just waiting for the temp to get above 20 degree's to shoot some.Cabin fever kicking in
  6. any one try these on game yet....
  7. Still no mention on TC's site,I think it will sell pretty good.Maybe take some sales away from CVA.
  8. I didn't see it on TC's web site,but its on Cabelas.... http://www.cabelas.com/product/Thomp...h-All+Products

    X7

I shoot BH209,I can get about 30 shots before I have to clean it.Plus I can get a 350FPB to clover leaf at 75yards in it.. I have a break action NEF,and this is just as simple.Like you love your Triumph I am in love with the x7.I just didn't like the way the triumph felt...But I know lots that love it.

    X7

http://www.tcarms.com/firearms/images/8880Details.jpg[/img] SEALED PIVOTING BREECH DESIGN The X7’s unique action operates by using the forward motion of the trigger guard lever to pivot the breech block downward, allowing easy access to the 209 primer pocket. This closed breech design seals the 209 primer away from rain, snow or sleet. SUPER RELIABLE The X7 is a closed breech muzzleloader, which protects the 209 primer from foul weather. Its sealed breech plug is specifi cally designed to avoid the problem of crushing Pyrodex® Pellets, which could cause a misfire. MADE FOR THE MOUNTAINS At one pound lighter than the standard Omega, the X7 features a newly designed fluted receiver with a 24” tapered barrel, and is perfect for trekking up those steep inclines to bring home that record kill that’s just waiting for you.

    CVA?

I bet some of it had to do with that scary pic of the guy blowing off his hand while shooting one.I think that was found to be fake? not sure.

    CVA?

Get a White, beats the rest by miles.
  21. My powder is in my gun safe,no issue so far.I would run a de-humidifier.
  22. Alot of people like the Omega with BDC,it has gotten good reviews.I am not a fan of the BDC.I have A nikon buckmasters and a bushnell trophy with out the DOA on a couple of my ML's. The Leopold ulitmate slam is another that rates very good. Your going to want to make sure you get something with good eye relief or else your going to get one nice shiner Steve
  23. BH209 - a little hoppes oil T7 and Pryodex - windex then Montana Xtreme Swiss and Goex - soap and water.. After all powder is out of the barrel a little rubbing alcohol then a few dry patches.
  24. I wanted a ML too but my wife bought me a safe.Use it,shoot it,clean it,store it,ready for 2011.
