  1. Looks like your in the Albany area, pretty sure Clifton Park and the WVLTE rod and gun are now maxed out with 1600 plus member...Not sure about the other local clubs... No downside for me to say. Steve
  2. Anyone buy the new accura mountain rifle or TC FX pro hunter yet? Just wondering about a range report. Also if anyone buys or bought bullets from Dan at bullshop,it seems he is no longer in bussiness. Just a heads up.... Hope everyone is having a great start to summer, not long before hunting season starts now !!! Steve
  3. I have dealt with Tc before and after S and W. I can say I think it was better before the moved, but since the move it seems I have spent more phone time with them . I had a breach plug that started to pit ,called them up,sent it in,and got a new one in return.Still great service in my mind and it wouldn't deter me from buying another. Steve
  4. Any feedback from any new knight owners since they came back to life...
  5. Got this from another forum ,looks like Toby is done with knight. First Savage with Henry Ball now knight.... http://www.namlhunt.com/ml-qc.html
  6. windex then montana extreme bore conditioner. Steve
  7. most people who have White's let alone a thunderbolt keep them.Grand Alaskans are rare, thunderbolts can be found.. The search goes on..
  8. As long as your in the woods you got a chance.......Late Muzzle loader season with time running out is a thrill in itself
  9. Anyone got one they want to sell. Steve
  10. don't look past the 300gr speer deep curls.
  11. What ya going to use!!!!!!
  12. I would still choose the other bullets listed over the 300gr bonded TC shockwave. Its just a SST renamed. Steve
  13. What bullet would you be reffering to?
  14. Some TC's with QLA will not shoot conicals that great. It will depend if the QLA itself is concentric to the bore...My X7 will shoot them awsome , guess I am a lucky one. The speer deep curl is a bonded bullet, the 300gr .452 will do just fine as would a .452 300gr XTP .All in a crush rib sabot I would pick. Hornady's 350gr FPB would be another bullet I would use.Lots like the Thor line but they can be very hard to load in a TC. I had a bear of a time in mine. Wish I was going.
  15. What gun are you using ? Your good powder wise, I would highly recommend the .452 deep curl or .452 XTP both in 300 gr. Also I would suggest the 460gr no excuses or some 400gr White power punch's Steve
  16. The deer won't know the difference and your shoulder will. Now you have to try other bullet combo's , shooting great groups like that gets boring...... !!!! Steve
  17. I would have never guessed that.150gr of pellets would be about 120gr of loose if I am thinking correct. When I shoot pellets its only two , but I am shooting 300gr to 460gr bullets. Check out Graf and Sons, most times they are cheaper then Harvester with shipping and all.
