  2. If under 500 yards away, you are correct. Might need a rest though. 300-400 yards = off-hand no problem. Still overkill for a whitetail though. The .270 WBY Mag would be fine.
  3. So what category would this deer fall under? Maybe he means 16 hits and 3 clean misses.
  4. I think he means he has killed 16 deer in 3 years with a bow = a.k.a. POACHER
  5. I suggest "Fractions for Dummies".
  6. Maybe corn or apples on the ground would be enough to bait him over the bridge lol
  7. is 3M near 3N? hopes he walks by me on 11/16.
  8. Without the rack, how do they know it is the same deer?
  9. Non typical bucks next year. Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk 2

  14. I've been on several guided and semi guided hunts. No reason to use a booking agent. Do your homework yourself and talk to outfitters and references directly. No need for a middle man. Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk 2
  15. No muzzleloader for me. Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk 2

  18. and a bunch of guys in camp saw black bears and got some cool video. We didn't see any bears though. No elk spotted either....
  19. Hunted in Pennsylvania for 4 days, Monday-Thursday (Clearfield County, Units 2G). Horrible week for deer sightings for us. 2 years ago I went alone and saw 36 deer (8 Bucks) in 4 1/2 days. This year I saw 3 deer (2 doe and 1 I couldn't tell, too dark). My Dad saw 1 spike and a bobcat. Monday and Tuesday seemed like decent weather. Wednesday and Thursday got warmer (almost 70 degrees) and rain and wind. Friday we didn't even hunt, 25-35mph winds and an inch of rain. The food plots produced nothing. I think it was because of all the acorns there this year. 2 years ago there wasn't many. This year acorns were everywhere. We hunted areas with tons of deer sign (scrapes, buck rubs, etc.) but still didn't see much. One guy in the camp shot a non-typical 8 pointer with a 19" inside spread (see pic). A few other guys passed on some 6 pointers. My Dad and I did see 5 really nice bucks when driving the backroads of the state forest. We saw 1 10pt, 3 8pt, and 1 6pt. Too bad we saw none in the woods. Few pics of where we hunted included and 1 pic of some turkeys. Oh well, now looking forward to hunting CT next weekend, then NY gun season.

  23. Geez.....are you from Oniontown?
  24. 12/13, got the hoof print one wrong. I don't track deer by prints, so I just assumed you could tell the difference if you knew what to look for.
