    Typically when hunting with my xbow I use my Dad's rangefinder. Well he just bought an xbow, which means we might be hunting at the same time now with xbows. I probably should look into buying one for myself. Any advice on what to get? I don't need anything crazy, just something good for close ranges. My Dad's is a really good one, so I will still use that for trips out west for long distances. Thanks in advance.

    Arms length many times with does and small bucks. Eating the bush/tree I am sitting against on the ground.

    Hopefully picking up my mount this weekend! I'm pumped.....also planning to get the skull officially measured by SCI. Hoping it goes Silver or Gold! The Rifle top 10 includes some really big ones, there are also divisions for handgun, muzzleloader, bow and arrow, and crossbow. I don't see a shotgun divison? Guess I will be put with the Rifle division?

    September 16th in CT for me! First-time ever hunting big game in September for me.

    I never use spray or anything. I agree with you, not many seen this year so far. Some years I pull tons off myself when fishing. This year, barely any.

    Thanks, same to you. I got a basket 8 in 2007. I mostly hunt a private piece of property in Carmel, but I do hunt the watershed properties in Carmel and Kent as well.
