  1. Interesting stuff. Return clients hunt bear every single year? Also, isn't a bait bear hunt only like $1600? I don't know about people "saving for years" to afford it.
  2. Not going for a Bear. Regarding, Bob Parker though, My Dad actually got a bear and a bobcat with Bob in Maine. 2 separate hunts. This was 10+ years ago though.
  3. Thanks guys. Using the credit for a Lynx Hunt December 2013.
  4. Is this a high-fence operation? How do you conduct your hunts for Puma/Cougar/Mt. Lions? I think I remember you posting here last year about bird hunts?
  5. Coyotes around 50lbs are not uncommon in NY. You saw a big coyote, not a wolf. I wish people went to google, then images, and type things in like "Big Coyote", "Big Bobcat", "Wolf", "Mountain Lion", etc. Then you will be more knowledgeable about these animals and realize coyotes can be 50lbs, Bobcats can be 40lbs, etc.
  6. I don't know? I joined tapatalk n when I respond from my phone it says that. Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk 2
  7. You saw a fat 20lb house cat Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk 2
  8. How does it work if you want to hunt L.I. through an outfitter?
  9. Hunting with crossbow looking for a buck. Saturday – I will sit on private land in a spot from dark – 9/10am. Then do some very very slow still hunting till lunchtime. After lunch I will probably try some DEP land. Sunday – Hoping a family friend lets me sit in a ladder stand with him watching a tiny food plot Anything 7pt or bigger the other guy gets, anything 6 or under, I get. I think he hunts the stand dark – 9am and then 2pm-dark.
  10. He shot the deer on your property? Call the Police!
  11. Calling for coyotes is easy. Getting a coyote to actually come in, is the hard part!
  12. $100 takes them. $400 worth of flying for $100. 75% off! Nobody headed out west in 2013?
  13. No problem! Nice meeting you and Elmo. Good luck to you guys too this weekend. Put the DMP tag to use!
  14. Thanks, Good Luck to you too. Forgot to mention I ran into DanC (member here).

My opinion on lifesize prices: Coyote & Bobcat & Lynx = $800-$1,000 Fox = $700-$800 Wolf = $2,000 - $2,400 Mt. Lion = $3,200-$3,600 Above prices usually include a decent base (rock or tree), moss(if you want that-I don't), leaves, snow, etc. Of course, open mouth is always extra.
  17. Went out with crossbow yesterday. Hunted the private 8 acres I have access to in Putnam County (3N). Didn't see anything. Covered a lot of ground. Was there 620am-11:30am. Went to Lockwood DEP land from 12pm-dark. What a disaster, people everywhere. Saw 2 guys target shooting with a handgun. I didn't call the DEP police, because they were just off the DEP land on private property, but annoying nonetheless. Decided to sit close to houses in some really heavy stuff and figuring thats where deer hang out to be safe. Did a doe bleat call at 2pm and 2 big deer popped up 60-70yards from me and took off. Couldn't get a look at their heads, but they weren't fawns. Will be out Saturday & Sunday. Not sure where yet. Might have a chance to hunt a food plot Sunday from a treestand with my brother's friend. We'll see if it happens.

  20. No word yet from Shawn Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk 2
  21. I covered more than 30,000 acres, so yes it was tougher. No fence to contain a lion. They travel 10-20 miles a day. Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk 2

    First deer!

First ever deer? That's awesome! Congrats. Putnam County? Invest in some sort of a deer drag rope. I got one from cabelas for like $15 years ago and it makes a big difference!
  23. +1, looks like a young Mule Deer
