    Always thought to be a good idea to severely wound an intruder, rather than take them out. That way, you both can go through hell in this state, rather than just yourself. A few .22 rounds threw the body cavity should do that. Their also such a fun little weapon to shoot.

    Congrats on the harvest. Some nice filming & great turkey movement. Got away with a lot of movement inside the blind. Nice double!

    From what I have seen, nearly 30% of the people that have signed up have not paid a premium. Default. Something that's not being reported.

    Guessing the split season didn't work for TR, so it was dropped. Kinda lost touch with the last turkey study, but can it be deemed a failure or a success?

    Like any other animal, habitat is the key to their survival. If people would like to see more wild turkey in their area, improve your areas habitat . I'm a firm believer in this!

    Here is one I revamped last year. Brought in hens & jakes along with some smart calling, but never worked on a Tom.

    Yeh, plenty of hobbies out there, but it would cost money to educate these people.

    The Great Lakes can make weather very unpredictable in this area. The use of dopplar radar has helped a great deal with weather right now, but doesn't predict the future weather events. It funny how technology has gained so many new advances in weather forcasting, but really no farther ahead, then they were 20 years ago.

    Good luck! Beetles do a great job of cleaning skulls. Leave even the thinnest of membrane in tack. I think you'll still get some shrinkage as the skull dries down though. I do all my deer, that don't make the grade, this way.
